_______________________________After a while of talking, "guys, I'm gonna go for a walk. I need to clear my head. I'll call you back later." I say to the 3 of them. "No, Sky. You can't, who knows what could happen." George said to me. "But-" before I could finish, "you can go but stay in vc with us on your phone." I hear Dream say. "sure I guess, I just need to get my mind off some things." I say to them.
I didn't bother changing. I left the VC on my pc and pulled out my phone to join on it. I joined, then put it back in my pocket. I put in my AirPods. "Alright I'm about to leave." I say to them, opening my room door. I hear another door open.
It must be Clay. I mute my microphone, and walk out. I see Clay getting a glass of water. "Hey, I'm going for a walk, I'll be back in a while." I say to him. He nods, and tells me to be careful. I nod and walk out, the unmute myself on the discord call. "I'm back." I say to them. "alright" SapNap and George say in sync. "where's Dream?" I asked them, walking out my college campus.
"He went to get something I'm not sure." SapNap told me. I just chatted with them for a while, then Dream was back. He wasn't being so rude to me, not as rude as usual. He would make a few not very offensive jokes but it was a lot less than normal.
He was probably doing it out of pity, whatever I guessed, I might as well enjoy it. To be honest, it was actually very very nice to have him being kind. Maybe he wasn't that bad, if you get to know him, he's not that bad. I actually liked talking to him.
A while passed, we were just saying jokes and talking about random stuff, it was really fun. I really did enjoy having my friends company, even if their not physically present.
As I was walking back, I saw a familiar face. "Fuck fuck fuck." I mutter, stepping back into an alley. "Sky, are you alright?" SapNap asks me, with obvious concern in his voice.
"I- uhm- my- my- father, I saw him. I don't know how to pass by without him seeing me. He might have caught a glimpse of me I don't know. I have to get out of here, w-what do I do?" I let our, barely able to stay calm.
"Okay Sky, you will be fine, just stay there, take a deep breath. Try to calm yourself. Your alright, I promise, we're all here, we won't let anything happen, Sky you will be fine, please don't worry, we're here." I hear Dream say.
It actually really felt so comforting. His voice made me feel comfortable. I loved it. Yes he may be an enemy, but his voice, I found it extremely comforting. I only realised how comfortable I was with Dream today, maybe we should have just stopped fighting, okay but that's not important right now.
"Okay, okay, I-im feeling a bit better." I say, trying to stay calm.
"okay now Sky, your still in the alley way right? Okay where exactly are you, or around where?"
SapNap asks me.
"There's a-a sign that says (idk random adress name bc I don't live in the us so idk😭)."
"stay there, give me a few minutes." SapNap says.
"what? What are you doing? SapNap?"
"Sky listen, I live near there and I'm coming to help so just wait, you'll be fine."
"SapNap you don't need to, I'll be fine I'll just walk past-"
"no. Stay there."
I didn't know what to say. Was he actually going to come help me? Would he actually go all the way jusy to help me? Wow, I'd never thought, I would have friends like this. In a few minutes, I Saw SapNap. "SapNap!" I exclaim, running over to him.
"You're safe, thank goodness!" He says to me. "I told you I'd be fine. Why did you come all the way to help me?"I ask him.
"Sky, I live 2 minutes from here, and I'll make sure you make it back safely. I do care for you Sky, so come on, your father better not even dare to touch you." He says, grabbing my hand.
I explained to him I saw my father at one of the café's nearby, and he was sitting down. We walked there. Right before waking to where people in the café could see us, i showed SapNap my father.
Dream and George were just listening to all of this happen. We walked past, trying to avoid him, but he saw me. oh god here we go... Me and SapNap started walking faster, and we were only a littile further from the café. SapNap wouldn't let me walk back to my college alone, he insisted. I had to agree in the end. Just as we were about to continue waking, i hear my name being called, by a very very familiar voice.
I knew exactly who it was. We both turned back. "who is this? Your boyfriend? What's wrong with you huh? Can't go places your self? what do you think of yourself?" Was what I heard. It really did hurt, hearing those things about you. If Infact still does. "why are you being such a bitch to your own daughter? Chill the fuck out!" SapNap exclaims, almost yells at him. They both just keep arguing, then my father finally leaves us alone.
"We're not done, I will come back for you, y/n."
He says, before walking off. I could feel a single tear roll down my cheek. All those things he said about me,wow.
Before I could do anything, SapNap just gave Me a hug. I rested my head on his shoulder, it made me feel so much better to have friends who can comfort you. (An: shall I turn this into SapNap x reader?😻😻 LMFSO JKJK SJSJ)
I thanked him after a few minutes, and wiped my tears. "Well he's gone, so now you can let me walk home myself." I say to him. "no." He says, not letting me walk by myself. In the end, he dropped me off at my college. "Thank you so much SapNap, thank you so much." I say to him.
"you can call me Nick, and your welcome." He says to me. I smile at him, and then go up to my dorm. Well that went bad. "Y/n, are you feeling any better?" I hear Dream and George say in sync from my AirPods. "yeah, a little, thanks a lot for everything, and thank you Dream for being nice to me today." I say to the both of them.
