Ch 4 : Hogwarts >>>

"Sorry to interrupt in between you guys but look we have reached Hogwarts," I said
all four of us looked out there was a huge castle with pretty lighting, rambling and there were a jumble of towers and battlements it looked like the castle looked like in the fairy tales then a harsh voice came from outside
"all the first years come let me lead your way to Hogwarts come fast"
then we moved out of the Hogwarts express a huge man with a bushy beard and hair who was smiling.
"Hagrid," said Harry,
"oh hello Harry," said Hagrid
then all the students were out then I looks back and saw Draco was staring at me and I ignored I mean what else I was supposed to do?. All of us sat down on the boats to cross the lake to reach Hogwarts
Me ,Harry, Hermione, Ron were sitting in the same boat and then we reached Hogwarts
Then we were supposed to stand there in lines and then a lady with fair skin black hat wore oval-shaped glasses said
"I am professor Minerva McGonagall and I welcome all of you to Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry soon you all will be sorted into your houses they are GRYFFINDOR, HUFFLEPUFF, RAVENCLAW AND SLYTHERIN and we are going to The Great Hall so I request you all to follow me"
then we walked through the corridors and we finally reached The Great Hall
it was a large haul with candles floating in the air which looke really adorable many students were sitting on the benches and in the front there were many teachers and I could see there was professor Snape too.

Cedric was giving me some actions that I would be sorted in Slytherin to make fun of me I gave him a sarcastic smile
and then he laughed
the Weasley siblings were sitting on the Gryffindor bench and all of them had red hair freckles on their faces and they looked very similar to Ron.
There was an old man tho who reminded me that he is the headmaster of Hogwarts professor Dumbledore, then professor Mcgonegall stood up in front and said
"now we are going to start the house sorting ceremony"
she was holding a dirty old hat which was singing something and as the hat completed the song she announced the first name and it was
"Hermione Granger"
Then Hermione walked straight professor kept the hat on her head and then the hat shouted
"Gryffindor",
"oh no," said Ron in a very low voice but I was able to hear it I was standing close enough the whole Gryffindor bench cheered her
"next Parvati Patil," said Professor
And the hat shouted
"Gryffindor"
Then she said "Draco Malfoy"
He again patted me at my shoulder and moved straight with his whole attitude on and then the hat was just an inch above his head and the hat shouted
"Slytherin"
the whole Slytherin bench cheered so loud for him
then I said to Harry "told ya evil this one"
then professor said
" next Ronald Weasley"
then the hat shouted
"Gryffindor"
there was great cheering again from his siblings and the Gryfindor bench then
she said
"Padma Patil" and the hat shouted
"Ravenclaw"
and a girl standing next to me said
"she is Parvati's sister, Padma Patil and the hat shouted Gryffindor for Parvati and Ravenclaw for Padma"?
now I was scared and nervous because it wasn't sure that siblings go in the same house,
then professor said "Neville Longbottom"
" Gryffindor" the hat shouted and after a moment there was Harry's name
"all the best Harry" I said
"thanks y/n" said Harry
Then professor put the hat on Harry's head and then there was a pin drop silence in the room the sorting hat hasn't answered from the last two minutes then the hat shouted "Gryffindor"
a great cheer was around Hermione and Ron looked happy even Cedric also clapped for him and finally now it was my name,
"y/n Diggory," professor said,
I could see Cedric crossing his fingers hoping that I get a good house maybe he teases me with Slytherin but he just makes fun of me that's it. Harry, Hermione, Ron were hoping for me to be a Gryffindor
I said to myself "relax everything is going to be good RELAX"
then professor kept the hat on my head and the hat took 2 minutes to say
