After looking angrily at Red, the caterpie hurried up and stared at the thumbtack pit, "and their on the move! They don't seem to know how to get across yet, but I'm sure our contestant will figure it out."
Caterpie looked at their friends helplessly hanging from the chain, and back at the wall, which was advancing at a slow, but intimidating speed. They hesitated, and then started to painfully traverse the pit of thumbtacks. It didn't seem like much, but caterpie felt every poke of the thumbtacks and already had several cuts. "And their moving through the thumbtacks! Incredible! The things Pokémon are willing to do for their lives are truly a sight to behold!" The caterpie made it through and without thinking, started to ram themselves through the glass walls. "And they've gotten to the walls! While the thumbtacks were painful, this is the part that will make or break the course!" Caterpie desperately hurled themself at the first wall, it broke pretty quickly. "One wall!" Red shouted. Caterpie had cut themselves on the shards of the glass, but they advanced onto the second wall and smashed it in three hits, "two walls!" They couldn't stop now! It took a lot of energy, but they broke the third one in three hits, "three walls!" They limped over to the fourth wall and smashed their tail into it six times, "four walls!" They sluggishly sprinted into the fifth wall, leaving a huge crack in it. They smashed their tail into it three times to finish it off. Red hopped excitedly, "five walls!" They bashed their head into the sixth wall, which sent a shard of glass into their side. They yelped in pain, but continued to limp through the wall. "Six walls!" They ripped the glass shard out of their side and smashed it into the wall, it didn't break the glass, but it made a huge dent in it. The caterpie repeatedly threw themself at the glass until the wall broke, "SEVEN WALLS! It is truly amazing how much sheer willpower this caterpie has! It almost makes you forget about how they were earlier;then again...tribulation builds character, right caterpie?" The caterpie looked behind them to see that the wall was getting closer, they hurried over to the thorn rope and slowly climbed up the rope, "just one pull of that lever and caterpie and their friends will leave this room safely!" Caterpie' s heart pounded as they reached the top, they thought of their family and their friends. They looked to the left, realizing that they had to jump onto the lever. They looked, they jumped, they fell. The caterpie then fell from 15 feet onto the hard ground next to the rope. The caterpie would never get up again. Red silently stared at caterpie's lifeless body and just turned back to the camera.
"That's...unfortunate." Red silently picked up the camera and walked away while the screams of the other caterpies echoed in the background, "but y'know, even though it was just for a moment...that caterpie regained the will to live." They gave the camera a smile, "and that...is the true beauty of this show." The television cut off at that moment.
