"Help! Help! Anybody! I don't care who , but someone, please!" The Pokémon's desperate cries were answered, but not by the voice they expected to hear. "Hello, caterpie." The voice spoke with a weird, distorted voice. The caterpie perked up, "yes, hello! Send help! I don't know why either of us are here, but it's not safe! I need you to send help!" The voice cackled, "what if I don't send help? I mean, you say you want help now...but you haven't been so keen on living these past few weeks." The caterpie flinched, "how do you know that?" The voice laughed again, "I've been around, I see many Mons like you that whine and complain about the hardships of life and...Don't you want to fix that caterpie?" The caterpie pondered for a moment. "Y-yes." The voice stopped for a moment. "Very hesitant response. But don't worry...we'll fix that." Suddenly, several lights were pointed at and in front of the caterpie. The lights revealed that the caterpie was standing on a glass platform with one path forward. At the end of the room there was a small bear with a mask standing on a podium, the bear held a microphone and the podium they were standing on had a big "GG" carved on the front. "Ladies and gentlemen! This is just the first episode for what will hopefully be a successful series on this channel! We don't have a name yet, so leave your suggestions in a the comments." The bear pointed at themselves, "I'm Red, and I'll be the host of our funny little game." The caterpie frantically looked around and stared at the bear, "who are you? Where am I?  What is this?" The bear shrugged their shoulders, "now, now, I'll get to that. But before we continue, let's give it up for our amazing guest! Ittttttttt's caterpie! (I don't know their name.)" Caterpie nervously waved, not knowing what else to do. "Now caterpie, you've been...not doing so hot, huh?" The caterpie looked down in shame, "no...I haven't." Red shook their head, "I know, I know. Life's hard, and you struggle to find a reason to keep moving forward, so tell me. What keeps you going?" The caterpie shrugged, "I don't know, That's the problem! I try to tell myself that everything will be fine but...sometimes I feel like it doesn't matters what I do." Red just blinked twice, "I'll be honest, I didn't expect you to open up so quickly, but I'm hoping that I can give you the will to live again." Red pointed at the caterpie, "so, are you willing to do whatever it takes for you to regain your will to live?" The caterpie nodded at them with determination, "yes!" Red cackled and pressed their paws together, "perfect. REVEAL THE OBSTACLES!" The caterpie looked confused, "what?" The floor in front of the caterpie opened up, revealing a pit of thumbtacks, in front of the pit, there were several walls of glass and there was a thorn rope after the walls of glass. At the top of the rope, there was a lever with more thumbtacks on it.
"W-what is this?" The caterpie shivered. "Well, it's the course, of course!" Red looked at a camera "for this course, out contestant will first traverse through the Perilous pit of thumbtacks, after doing so, they will proceed through the glass walls and climb the King's vine and finally, theyter will flip the lever to win the game! Do you understand, caterpie?" The caterpie shivered, "why would I do that? W-why would anyone do that?" The bear looked back at caterpie, "good question! After all, there has to be a motive, right? That's why, I got our sponsor to double down, and we have TWO motives! Activate motive A, please!" The caterpie looked behind them, and noticed a wall with a bunch of chainsaws and other sharp objects stuck on it. "As you can see, motive A is a not-so friendly, moving wall that will follow our caterpie as they go through the course." Caterpie shivered and  angrily looked back at the bear, what if I don't do that? I'd rather die than deal with this anyway!" Red nodded their head, "I figured that would be the case. I know YOU can take this...but can THEY? In front of the glass walls, the ceiling opened up, revealing two different caterpies hanging from a chain. "D-Doug? Martin?" Red looked back at the camera, "as you can see, for motive B, I brought some moral support! Now caterpie, I don't know what you're going to do but you should figure it out because the walls are moving in three...two...one!"
