"You want us to go in a random direction while being chased and assume we'll be fine!!?" A man yelled at Lance
Alot of other poeple were yelling at the group for their plan
Lance raises his hand
"I know it sounds bad but-"
"BAD!? BAD DOSEN'T DESCRIBE OUR SITUATION!!!" A woman yelled
"Hey calm down, we need to keep quiet" Dante joined
"DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO!!" The woman yelled back
Dexter walked in and attempted to stop both of them
"Please stop we're all on the same sid-"
The woman didn't even hesitate as she slapped Dexter right in his face
Dexter stood for a moment surprise and held his face, it didn't hurt him but it was just..hurtful
Lance quickly grabbed Dexter
"You ok?"
Dexter just nods
Dante turned to the woman and was about to yell
Harper stomped her foot, shaking the ground before he could
"That is enough, the longer we argue the more danger we are in"
The tension became thicker so thick you could see it
Aeron walked up and crossed his arms
"Harper's right, this is the only plan we have, if you have any ideas we're all ears"
The people went quiet while some still frowned at the group
"The reason why you're not going is because you don't feel safe. Correct?" Harper asked the people
They all hesitantly nod
"Charlie will accompany you" Harper said
Charlie who was silent and sitting in the cornor lifted his head up
"Hm, I am?"
Harper ignored him and kept her eyes on the people
"If he accompnies you, will you go with the plan?"
The people stared for a moment and then gave in
"will he be able to protect us?" The little girl Dexter saved asked
Charlie heard this and looked to his friends
He stood up awkwardly and walked towards the little girl and kneeled down
"Ahem, you have my word, I will not let a single thing happen to you" He said smiling
Charlie looked at the adults
"Any of you, nothing bad will happen"
"Fine"
"I advice we rest for a bit and then leave" Harper well advised
Everyone sat down and tried to relax
Lance walked up to the woman who slapped Dexter and gave her a map
"This is a map to my home, there should be a shelter there"
The woman looks at Lance and then thanks him
Lance walked back and sat on a rock next to his friends
"this will be the hardest challenge in our lives" Aeron stated
"Yeah, probably" Dante sighed
"Are you guys going to be ready" Aeron asked turning to them
They all nodded and Harper turned to Aeron
