My phone rang, realizing it was in my pocket. I took a quick glance. I stopped walking when I saw...
"Jeremy." I breathed his name. I quickly wiped my excess tears and cleared my throat. I answered the call and dragged the phone to my ear. "Hey?"
•Jeremy's P.O.V•
I had my suitcases' handle as I exited New York's airport. "Uh, hey. Forget about the note I gave you last night. We just went to Michigan instead and had a quick meeting. The Australia things was next year..." I began. Our transmision was silent. "O-Oh, really?" She stuttered. I can here her voice was very hoarse.
"What's wrong, baby?" I asked.
"No, no! It's nothing! I just can't speak clear today. I don't know."
"Okay." I just mumbled. "Where do you want to have lunch?"
•Kirstie's P.O.V•
I give limited speeches, clearly shock. Why does everything needed to go on the same time? "Uh... I'll ask Jill."
"Where are you?" He asked then.
"Jeremy, babe. I gotta go."
"Oh... Okay.. 'Lo--!"
No more words, I ended the call.
"TAXI!"
•Mitch's P.O.V•
*5:30PM*
"Yes, mom?" I faintly answered my phone. "Where are you now?" She scolded. "You didn't even told me you were leaving!"
"Mom, I have no time for those."
"Yes, you do! Go home!"
"Mom..." I just sighed.
She sighed to the call too. "Tell me what's with that sigh."
"I-It's nothing, mom." I mumbled, pinching my nose bridge. I looked up to see if I was crossing the road already to home.
