It was already 2 in the afternoon when we landed in London. After a whole hour of luggage checking and waiting for the coach, Tash and I bonded really well. We practically talked throughout the flight. Mind you, she is very talkative.

Finally, we got into the coach. The seats were so comfortable that i almost felt asleep on it. During our ride to the college tour, the manager told us there is a change in the itinerary. Instead of going for the tour, we would be going to check-in in our dorm.

Not going to lie, I am awkward with people. I am so nervous that I fear I will not get along with my roommate or I will get a roommate that is very bitchy. Arriving at the dorm building, I was in awe. The building itself is beautiful, very intricate and mesmerizing to see. There were two parts of this building, which I seem to realise one is for boys and one for girls. The entrance to the dorm was like walking into a royal garden. There is a big yard type thing, where one can play or even relax under the shade of a beautiful tree. There are wooden benches around and even a small fountain. Everything felt like a dream. I was feeling so little in a place like this.

Taking a deep breath, I continued listening to the manager who introduced us to the warden of the girls building, Ms Margaret. Ms Margaret is a middle-aged lady, a bit plump and an expression like Dolores Umbridge in Harry Potter. Oh Dear lord! She welcomed us and the seniors of the dorm. We all entered the building and we had to look in a board where our names have been written along with our room number. I got my room keys and went with the girls. Unlike me, Tash did not have her room number and keys, as she was a late acceptance so she had to wait at the reception itself. I wished she was my roommate but as I was looking for my name, the slot of my roommate was already filled. Slightly disappointed, we went to our room. It was quite a long ride in the elevator; at least it felt like it. My roommate was not much a talker nor introduced herself to me. It is going to be fun! Cue the sarcasm.

The senior girls filled us with the rules and regulations of the dorm as we went along. They were nice. Finally, we entered our room. I was like Am i dreaming. Because this feels like I am in a movie. The room was so beautiful with two beautifully arranged beds, our own chairs and tables. On top of that, a beautiful balcony that looks outside the garden a little bit of the boy's dorm, not that actually matters or anything. As I was about to introduce myself to my roommate, she was already out of the room. She had a problem that there was not much room in the room. Girl its a dorm. What did you expect? And she is not comfortable using the elevator that high everyday. Fussy much. Why didn't she say anything before, was out of my mind. Anyways the seniors took her to the warden while i settled myself in. I was so content, I felt free that I am in a different world, meeting new people and actually be taking care of myself rather than other people.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door. I opened and saw it was Tash.

"Heyyy bitchh, guess what we are roomies!!!" She exclaimed. "Apparently there was a girl being picky about her room and heard your name and I grab that opportunity to be your roommate. Pheww that went so smooth. "

"Oh thank god. I thought i was going to be stuck with someone else. Im really glad it's you" i smiled.

" aint bitch. I am not leaving you." She laughs. "Cardi B expression doesn't go well with me doesn't it?" she looked at me sceptically and suddenly we started laughing.

That's when i knew we were in for the long run. We settled ourselves in the room and also discovered a small kitchen in the room. That is so so convenient. Me and Tash were already planning our meals and so on.

Then it dawn upon me really that I am in a new place, new country and meeting new people and that i have to leave my past behind and focus on now.

Hello everyone, thank you for giving the book a chance. I will try to update regularly from now on.

Please do note that i am not from England nor London. Not everything like buildings or shop will be the same. Its all going to be fiction.
