Chapter 9

Kei's POV
I'm going to ask Shana what happened last night that she got home without saying goodbye.

I was about to walk to her. When Hikari pulled my sleeves.

Kei, be sure to there. The competition will be held today. Be sure you are there Hikari said before she runs up to where Akira was. I only nodded and look again to where Shana was.

Shana I called for her. But she doesn't seem to hear. So I called again. And this time she turns around. She smiles and apologize for leaving early last night.

I wanted to ask why but seeing her smile and apologize I let it go and not ask her.

I just changed the subject and ask her if she will come to the competition of Hikari today. She said yes.

So I'll see you later. I'll have work to do. I said then leave them.

Shana's POV
I was on my way to where Akira was when Kei called me. He ask if I'm going to come to Hikari's competition and I just said yes.

He leaves us due to his company work.

My phone began to ring. It was Yahiro calling..

Yahiro: Shana, can we meet? The plane just landed and I was hoping to see you.
Shana: Sure, let's meet. Buy me melon breads and vanilla shakes.
Yahiro: Okay, okay. See you. My driver will drive you from where I am.
Shana: okay, I'll see you soon.

The call ended. I told Akira that Yahiro called up and he wants to meet. I asked her if he wants to come but sadly she's not ready to see Yahiro after a long time so I go alone instead. I didn't ask Kei because he's busy with his work.

---- at the cafe----

Shana, it's been awhile. How are you doing? Are you and Kei a couple now? Yahiro asked me.

I smiled at the thought of Kei and I as a couple. But my smile fades us I remember I never did confess to Kei.

I'm doing great. Akira's doing great and Kei is doing great. And as of your last question. We aren't. I told you already. I didn't have a chance to confess to Kei. That time when I was about to tell him my feelings I saw him with some other girl.
And that girl happens to be Hikari. And she's our classmate. I told Yahiro.

Poor Shana. Don't worry since I'm here already. I'm going to help you win Kei. Yahiro said to me.

But I don't think there's still a point on helping me. I might plan to give up this feeling. His brother Sui told me Kei likes Hikari. And besides my brother sent me a message that I'll get married to Hayato family. So I don't think there's still a chance for me.
I said feeling the sadness in my voice.

You are stupid, Shana. I can tell Kei likes you so you should not give up. I promise I'll help you, okay. In just 3 days I'll be having my birthday so be sure to come. Yahiro said to me.

Thank you. I hope it's not too late. I'm attending you're birthday don't worry. Oh, before I forgot. I need to go back. Hikari's competition will be held today and I'll be watching together with the others.
I'll see you soon. Bye. I left Yahiro after our small chat and hurry back to school.

(In the school)

The competition will start soon have you seen Shana. Megumi asked and everyone wondered except for Akira.

She meets someone and promise that she'll be back. Akira said

Then Akira whispered something to Kei.

Shana meets him. Kei, Yahiro has come back. She meet Yahiro.

With that the expression Kei has have changed into something dangerous.

Then he uttered. So he's back
