description: Alex(nerd) had always had trouble speaking to others he always felt like they would judge him and always worried that he will embarrass himself, he would always avoid things like public speaking and speaking to others, professor ketchup and dr. dan takes notice of his behavior and diagnoses him with social anxiety Alex(nerd) thought this will change how people see him and think he's a freak but what would happen if professor ketchup was the same way as a teen? Can professor ketchup teach him that it's fine to be a bit more nervous then other's

Alex(nerd) was sitting in his room until he heard a knock on his door

"Hey Alex it's me Dr.dan" he looked up to the door when he heard the other scientist's voice he got up from the spot he was sitting at it now feeling uncomfortable and moved toward his door and opened it...To reveal Dr.dan standing there too nervous to say anything feeling that dr. dan would judge him

"Hey? Can you see me and professor ketchup in the lab later?" The nerdy boy nodded his head to scared to say something as he feels that he will say something stupid

The nerdy boy was walking more like dragging himself to the lab thinking he had done something stupid or said the wrong thing when he finally got to the lab he stood there thinking he was in trouble Dr.dan finally took notice of this and said

"Don't worry you're not in trouble but we do have to talk to you about something" as Dr.dan patted the cot right by him suggesting the boy to sit down Alex(nerd) finally walked over to the cot...And sat down fidgeting with his hands a bit Professor ketchup finally spoke

"So Alex me and Dr.dan have noticed you have been behaving differently than everyone else" the nerdy boy gulped starting to feel embarrassed that someone noticed his behavior as professor ketchup stared at the nerdy boy's face noticing the kid was embarrassed about something and seemed really shy at the moment as he remembered something he used to have back when he was a teen he had acted the same way as the kid in front of him avoiding public speaking or speaking in general, and getting embarrassed easily, social anxiety... Dr.dan also remembered how professor ketchup was back in the day dr. dan put his hand on the nerdy boy's shoulder before speaking

"Alex I know exactly why you're acting like this" the nerdy boy looked up with a hopeful look wishing to know why he acts the way he does dr. dan continued 

"well by the looks of it you have social anxiety" the nerdy boy gave dr. dan a confused look and finally spoke out 

"social anxiety..? What's?" Before going quiet again dr.dan started to explain 

"well it's where you feel nervous every single day and it includes fear and avoidance and that can interfere with your everyday relationships" as dr.dan finished explaining he look back to the nerdy boy who was sitting there taking in that information before the nerdy boy could tell him heart race increased, he started to sweat more, having shortness of breath feeling a choking sensation also feeling a bunch of pain in his chest and even feeling a bit dizzy, as his breathing became quicker professor professor ketchup took notice and knew he was having an anxiety attack all of a sudden professor ketchup threw his arms around the nerdy boy attempting to soothe him 

"Alex listen to me you need to calm down let me put it in other words social anxiety means your more nervous then other's when it comes to social things and that's okay because I was once just like you" the nerdy boy started to calm down slowly hugging professor ketchup back and professor ketchup started to speak again 

"and you can over come social anxiety it may not be an easy journey but I'll be here to help you just trust me" the nerdy smiled as tears fell knowing he wasn't alone that he wouldn't be judged A smile tugged on dr. Dan's lips seeing the two boys both dealing with social anxiety one who came over it one who is dealing with it and left the room keeping that smile on his face

(sorry if this is bad and that it is short I tried on this and I think it came out pretty good but I don't know for sure tho but I do hope you liked it)
