Two weeks went by and things went back to normal. I told them that I needed a bit of space some of the days of the week. I opted to stay with Sky since I missed her so much. Sage apologized to me and took me on a shopping spree. To which I happily complied. One thing I was worried about was that when I was at Sky's I had a case of throwing up in the morning. I brushed it off like it was nothing but my subconscious was eating away at me most of the day. I knew that I had to settle it once and for all so I texted Sky to get me a few different pregnancy tests. This was just to ease my mind. Right? I'm on the pill. Just in case.
I rush over to Sky's place.
"Um, Mila when was your last period?" Sky asks me worriedly.
Oh god, not this. "Look Sky it's just a precaution. There's no way I am pregnant. Right?" I blabbered.
Sky sighed, "Well there's only one way to find out"
I took the pregnancy tests out of her hand and headed to the bathroom. A baby? Am I ready for one? God the guys will freak. Ok manifesting this is a false alarm. After I pee on the sticks. Sky and I wait for what seems like hours.
"Sky you look"
"Are you sure?"
I nodded and she takes a deep breath.
"Two lines..."
All of them were positive. I took deep breaths to calm down my anxiety. "Okay, I can do this. I'll be a great mother. Sure I wanted to get married first but I guess the universe had other plans"
Sky just pulled me into a tight hug and gave me a kiss on the forehead assuring me that she will be with me through it all.
