Khushi was also in a similar situation, she was unable to understand anything, at least Arnav was sure there is no one else in Khushi's life apart from him and his son but our Khushi was thinking about Dear Sheetal.

She was sure that if her father have decided something , he will make it happen by hook and crook and now he is hell bent on letting Arnav know about Arav, she understand her father well, taking Arav back to Mumbai was just a bait, but if she doesn't let Arnav know it by herself, his father will let him know and when it com comes to his daughter, she have the most crooked way of letting this fall in its place just for her happiness and  if it involves a bit of manipulating here and there he will do that, he will make sure Khushi gets her love back and Arav gets his father, if it is even at the expense of manipulating Arnav. This is quite similar to Arnav's way of dealing things.

Khushi is confused that what should she say to Arnav, that Arav is his son, if he didn't believe that or if he doesn't accept him, or if he want to keep Arav with him, or just want to co-parent Arav, with each situation, the end result will be same Khushi will be broken. How will she bear that Arnav moving on with someone else, when she is stuck in the past.

On the other hand, she doesn't want to think on positive line, it will be very difficult for her to gather herself back if it doesn't go as per her beautiful dream, even Arav won't be able to pull her out of that grief. And she is also worried if Arnav accepts Arav, will Sheetal be able to bear that, won't it destroy Arnav's happy life.

So this is how our Khushi's crooked mind worked.

She was thinking all this and tears were continuously flowing from her eyes and this is how Arnav found her in her cabin, she was not aware that when she said come in or if Arnav knocked, those were  the least cared issue right now.

As soon as Arnav reached her cabin he panicked seeing her tears were flowing continuously nose have turned red, Arnav forgot all his hesitation, just gone and took her into his arms,"Khush what happened, why are you crying, common tell me?"

Khushi was still not aware of her position just looked up to him and asked "Will he also leave me? Will he be able to live without me?" Arnav staggered a little, about whom Khush is talking, but first he have to stop her from crying, he was in his thoughts when Khushi again spoke "You will not take him away, he is my life , answer me please you will not take my Arav, I was able to survive without you but I will not be able to survive a minute. " Listening this, Arnav, hold her close and whispered sweet nothings in her ear and said, "I'll never leave you ever , I promise and for Arav, he would not want to leave such cool parents." This sentence was enough to jerk Khushi back to present. She closed her eyes for a minute and let the warmth of his words seep into her being, she doesn't wanted to wake up from this slumber if tit was a dream.

She slowly lift her face from his chest to validate his words, he just simply smile and it struck her that this is fucking reality, she is actually in arms of the man she always wanted to. She remembered and was going to ask him but he simply put his fingers on her lips and just hugged her to his heart content and saying a sweet I love you, have always loved, since the day I befriended you, and with this everything was long forgotten just there was these two and their confession. She was only able to whisper the three words, he have only dreamt off till now, "I love you too". In reply he just kissed her forehead and again hugged as if his hold loosened a bit she will go away, She just smiled and kissed him.

Nothing pompous just a heart to heart confession...I thought of this scene many times, and every time with different scenario, but this felt so right to write.....
