Five years ago he returned from his university, when his friends were looking for a some time to relax, he didn't have that much privelage to give himself time and then start his life as a working professional in a company. So he developed his own company from scratch as he have to achieve everything his grandfather had and give it back to his grandmother, his family and most importantly to his Di, who was her backbone in the toughest time. in all this he forget to listen to his heart which always try to say some thing to him. Everybody says that he looked after his di, but he can't neglect the other part that his sister was the biggest emotional support ewhenever he needed, he didn't inform about his life in harvard but when he was in India, his di know every single thing. She is a professor at the Delhi University and works as any other independent girl, nobody can say she is the sister of the Great ASR.
Now he have achived the platform he wanted, have given the life to the familythat they deserved and right now he is in happy place, his cousin is getting enagaged to the love of his life, who used to work as an HR in their company. And with everything settled, his grandmother is pestering him to follow the suit of his sibling and settle in life. But is he ready to share his life with somebody, will he able to love her like the way his mama loves his mami or his cousin loves his fiancee or his sister loves his BIL, he don't know but he is sure that whoever she will be he will always respect her and will always be there for her. So he asked his nani to go for the girl of her choice for her chote and he will respect her decision.

Arnav(with the same smirk): seriously di do you really want to know how many girls i dated in harvard, because the way you panick when media shares my list of girls i dated, i doubt that you will be sane after knowing my harvard stories.
He replied and move to his room with some thoughts playing in his mind about certain someone whom he met at harvard, she was beyond his reach, she was a topper, humble, sweet,helping and most beautiful girl in the college according to him. Being one ofthe favourite of professor, he was lucky to have got the opportunity of working with the diva and the most important part that attracts him to her was her innocence that she was unaware of the fact she was almost everyone's attention is on her. He have met different girls in his life but she have different place in his heart or can say she is the only girl that triggered those varied emotions in his heart, she is the one but he ignored it. He was not able to say those feeling to her because at that time he knew she belong to the powerful family of the india and he was nowhere at that time and he have responsibilities so he can't drag her in his life and let the world thing he used her to associate himself to the most influential family of India and be among those people who actually plan this. There were many boys who wanted to date her just knowing that she belong to the Oberoi family but she never interacted with people much only few of them who genuinely loved her. She never shared this that she belong to the Oberoi family but people got to know this due to his overprotective bhaiyo who never let any chance to meet her when he came to states for any business purpose.
Now he is unable to face her because he is afraid if he found out that she have moved on, he will be shattered and won't be able to live.
He liked that girl and he will always until someone takes that place or will he be able to give that place to anybody, he had relations but those all are no string attached purely to create an image in the fashion world. But he knows that he will always respect the woman whom his family chooses and will respect her as his better half.
He was happy until this question by his sister triggered the memory lane which was never acknowledged and now ASR is confused were those feeling that strong that he is unable to think of his recent girlfriend Sheetal, whom his nani is planning to tag him with. yes he knew it was Sheetal because his nani never wants to dissapoint him and his secaratory Sheetal never let go of chance to give hint to his family how she cared for him or how much she love him. initially it was just to shoo away media who weekly finds any new model and tag him with her but when sheetal showed him interest he was also convinced they should give this a try but he never gave her indication of settling down with her but she made sure that she become a part of Raizada family. But he don't have hope that the princess of the oberoi family would ever want him in her life when she herself is so successful in life and she is always of a believe one woman man so does she deserve him a man who is also famous for his playboy image, he never used any girl it was always mutual but he still feels he is not worthy of that good soul. And Sheetal is money minded but that is because life made you face worse situation due to financial crisis, and even he is not a great person he do feel for someother girl so if sheetal give more importance to materialistic things than him what's wrong. So basically it is marriage of convinience where two people are getting what they want one wants money other wants his family's happiness. He feels he is not lucky to deserve a pure soul like Khushi. ASR writes his destiny in professional world but personally he is also vulnerable, sheetal is good for his family and when you have achieved the heights in professinal world that doesn't mean you will get what you desire everytime. He is thankful to her devimaiyaa that she made him meet such a pure soul and he can live with those memories.

with these memory he took out a pic from his colege days which was taken when they won in the project presentation and his girl was happy and he can't stop admiring her.
Now this picture will always be a part of his memory till he die and will be stored in the farthest corner of his house because he can't forget her but that doesn't give him a chance to revive the memory of the girl everyday when he is tied to someone else. it doesn't matter whether she loves him or not but he can't be like his father and cheat the woman in his life.
NOTE:
So what you think about Arnav, because many people hated Arnav but i always felt that he was good at taking responsiblities, he never ran away from it. He only have one person infront of ehom he can be the Arnav without being the strong ASR and he made some mistakes but he was not cruel at all or inconsiderate and in show khushi was shown extreml y selfless which is also wrong for any person to be that selfless.
