Arnav came back to Shantivan, he was happy after a long time, smiling and he was humming a song, after a long time. It was late in the night so, house was quite silent, only the livingroom light was on and he saw anjali was sittng on sofa reading some of her novel, he quickly asked, "Di, why are you late till this, sorry if you were waiting for me", she smiled at her over concerned brother but then she frowned and asked pointing his face, "First, you tell me why my so arrogant brother is so jovial that i am able to see the happiness in his eyes", he was shocked to which Anjali replied, "If you don't want to tell it's okay but chote I request you to hold the reason of your happiness and never let it go for any reasons, ", he nodded and asked, "But you tell me what are you doing at this time with this stupid novel and where is jiju" She replied, "Chote hold a second one question at a time, your Jiju have gone to Mumbai for some meeting and as I was alone in the room, I was missing him, so tried to spend some time with this love of my life(novels), and I'll sleep once he call me reaching there, and promise I am not straining myself and I was on leave today, so rested for few hours in afternoon."he kissed her forhead, wished goodnight and left for his room.
As he reached his room, he pondered over her Di's words, as nowadays harmones are taking a toll on her she misses his Jiju very much even if he is away for a day. She was always worried for him earlier but she was never this emotional when he left for his meetings. His niece/nephew is giving her a tough time, he remembered once Akash and he was teasing her, that Jiju loved them more and she was on the verge of crying when she saw jiju is siding with them. With these thoughts, he was diverted to Khushi, didn't she missed him when she was pregnant with Aarav, was there anybody to console her take care of her and he quickly repirmanded himself that, why would she miss him, but he was confused how he is able to relate to aarav that much as he is his own, he know that he loves Khushi but still he have seen people taking time to accept things related to their partner, but whenever he sees aarav, he feels him as a combination of him and Khush, he felt the fatherly instinct in him the day he saw aarav. He was confused, he never thought he can never love anybody, like he loves Khushi but Aarav proved him wrong, he felt the same protective instinct for Aarav as he felt for Khushi.
Khushi was thinking about the pros and cons of telling Arnav, the truth but the only image coming infront of her eyes was of a happy family, which she always wanted. And that is forcing her to face the truth but then the image of Sheetal and Arnav flash infront of her, she can't be selfish. She thought to leave on her devi maiyaa and slept peacefully, again living with Arnav in her beautiful dreams.
Next day arrived and Khushi's devimaiyaa was giving a wicked smile as she have planned something, but for that her favourite devotee have to face some pain. Let's us see what's planned.
Early morning Aarav woke up and saw khushi still on bed and was down with high fever, she was doing some official work on the tab and Arav came and snatched that tab. She asked what are you doing aru? He simply stared her and then she said "I am sorry Aru but this project is important and I have to look into these clause as I have a meeting today, I'll come and rest after that". Arav said, "no mumma you are not going anywhere as you also ask me to bunk schools if I am suffer from fever and you can't cheat". She just hugged Aarav and nodded aa ok boss, but Aarav was not stupid he knows his mother will definitely try to make him agree giving the excuse of so called deadline. So he called his father.
Arnav was in a very good mood today, more shocking to the family was he was whistling. Anjali was happy to see the positive changes and being grandmother's granddaughter she also thought that these changes are affect of Sheetal in Arnav's life. He wished everyone and asked "di I hope you didn't forget medicine, while missing my lovely jiju and winked." But Anjali was not going to take that so she teased, "And can I ask you in whose thought you are these days" she noticed a faint smile on his face , but her next word took that away, she said your girl was coming but I guess Sheetal is stuck somewhere. Arnav asked, "why, Sheetal is coming here today, any special reasons." Anjali said, "don't try to fool us you yesterday planned to have engagement with Sheetal but didn't informed, but she is such a nice girl, I guess I am her sister rather than yours, she told me how yesterday you proposed her". Arnav was shocked how can she say so when he himself broke his relation yesterday. He was going to call her when he saw her entering the dining hall, wishing everybody and faking blush while looking at Arnav, Arnav could kill with looks "Sheetal would be dead", how can she lie to his di and play innocent. So Arnav, asked Sheetal, "I would like to talk with you" and with this the family passed the teasing glance. Everyone was busy teasing and hooting for the favourite couple according to them , but just then the phone rang, making Arnav genuinely happy.
@Kavii3 this is a short update just for you......thanks for your support and love. This is a chapter I have forced myself to write as I was literally having no idea.....I promise you guys next update will be bigger.
