yeri returned back to busan after a long and hard week, she couldn't bear seeing joohyun suffered, also she needs some time alone from sooyoung. the blonde girl decided to park the car right in front of her dorm room so that it will be easy for her to carry her luggage inside. as she was about to exit the car, a loud knock can be heard from the window outside of her car, "fuck, what do you want?!"
saeron smiles brightly from outside, hinting that she's happy seeing yeri again after a boring week.
"let me help you!" the latter beamed as she opened the door for yerim and the blonde girl become confused of the sudden kindness from her roommate. she watched as saeron help her carry the luggage inside the room, squinting her eyes and follow her, "hey, what's up with you today? you look. . . weird." the question seems to be caught saeron off guard and it's proven when the latter accidentally drop the bag to the floor. saeron clear her throat, muttering 'sorry' and quickly walk to her roommate's room to put her bag there.
"you haven't answer my question yet, where are you going—" yeri was cut off by saeron, who's patting her head with a nervous smile, "you asked too much questions, kim yerim. shut your mouth before i do it myself" and then, she left the room. yerim could see how her roommate's body tensed up and the red cheeks that didn't go unnoticed. the blonde girl look around the room, shrugged it off and went to the bathroom to wash her face.
it was probably nothing. or is there something that she's hiding . . . ?
yerim decided to ask her that once they're alone again but now, she want to focus on bringing back the smile that joohyun lost, even though it will be impossible after seulgi's death.

sooyoung couldn't focus in her piano class, she keeps messed up the notes, and even caught daydreaming in class. is it because of seulgi's death that she become like this? or is it because of something or maybe someone? yerim and seungwan, perhaps is the problem. the girl keeps finding herself thinking about them, wondering what are they doing now.
yerim obviously doesn't want to see her again.
seungwan? sooyoung doesn't seems so sure about that. as she was walking past the new cafe that just opened last month, her eyes caught something that she least expected and hate to see, seungwan with woojin, laughing together? are they. . . a thing now? she went inside without thinking, and was now in front of them with a shock face. "i didn't expect to see you two here" she said, but her tone doesn't sounds happy. seungwan's heart racing, why is she here? and woojin seems to notice the tension between them so he excused himself, "you two have a lot to discuss, i better go now. see you two again, maybe we can get some coffee together with the rest" he showed them a smile before walking away, hoping it will go well.
sooyoung still standing there, she doesn't know what to do. seungwan glance at the taller girl, fiddling with her fingers and clear her throat, "you can sit down, it's not like we're strangers. even though it seems like we are now" she whispered at the end of the sentence but sooyoung heard it and her heart clenched. with hesitation, sooyoung sat down but her eyes still on the floor with a guilty feeling eating her alive. they couldn't think of a word to say, it was quiet, too quiet that seungwan could not take it anymore.
"i'm sorry"

they both looked at each other with surprise faces, sooyoung shook her head and nervously smile, "it was my fault! i made you and also yerim suffered with my choice. i didn't know what to do now, my feelings mixed, i have no idea who to choose! i love both of you . . . i'm really sorry, seungwan." her eyes started to fill with tears, while seungwan, on the other side, unconsciously bringing her thumb to sooyoung's face to wipe the tears away.
"please, don't blame yourself. and i'm sure yerim doesn't blame you too. we know, the mixed feelings that you're having is difficult, but i'm sure you'll figure it out eventually." the oldest of them two give her the softest smile she ever seen, and pat her head with gentle that sooyoung always love. her heart flutter, cheeks turning bright red but was hidden by her long, black hair. she lift her head up, seungwan giggles at how cute she is and lean in closer to her face,
"i don't care who you will choose, because no matter what, i will always love you."

"this is all sooyoung's fault!" yerim yelled, putting the glass down with a bit of a force on the table that saeron sure will break soon if she doesn't stop her now. they both agreed to hang out,and yerim still haven't stop rambling on how she want to strangle the living hell out of the taller girl for making her like this. saeron flinched when she raised her voice again, looking around to see everyone giving them weird looks and smile nervously, "don't worry, she just drunk!"
"hey, i am not drunk!"
"just stop talking already" saeron shove the food in her mouth, sighing as she messaging her own temple, this hang out thingy isn't what she had in mind. she was thinking of something. . . more romantic, where they could share some emotional talks with each other. she internally cursed sooyoung for this but she know it's her fault for making her expectation too high. it's yerim, that girl know nothing about emotional talk anyway. or confession.
yerim rest her chin on the table, a little bit tipsy with her nose that's slightly red, "i hate sooyoung so much. . . why did she has to choose seungwan. . . why . . ." she buried her face in her arm and accidentally kick saeron's leg underneath the table.
saeron yelp, glaring at the blonde girl before exhaling, she was too tired for this.
"hey"
yerim opened her eyes to look at her, raising her eyebrow to hear what saeron want to say.
"why do you like sooyoung so much, knowing too well she likes someone else?" oh, that question she always ask herself every night. yerim dropped her gaze down and let out a sigh, "i don't know, it all started when i was little, even before i met taehyung. she just too . . . dreamy, her angelic smile and how she always too confident about herself. she has no idea how in love i am until one day i decided to confessed during our graduation day"
"w-what?" how can she doesn't know that? oh who is she kidding, she just know yerim for. . .a year? couple of months, she doesn't know. the thought of yerim with someone else is hurting her.
"it was a dumb idea, i just couldn't hide my feelings anymore and then she rejected me. only to accepted me when i kissed her three years ago, at the end of our date." a hoarse chuckle escape her throat, yerim placed the empty glass down, a bitter smile that's forming in her lips. saeron frowned, "why can't you just forget about her?"
"because i just can't, i'm too inlove."
"then, just forget about her and date me instead!" saeron said, and it caught yerim off guard at the sudden confession. she has no idea what's going on right now but the serious look that her roommate made was confirmed that she just confessed her feelings to her. "i can treat you better than her, so give me a chance!"
