"Wake up baby," I was awoken by the smell of bacon next to my nose. I opened my eyes and saw Luke standing in front of me with a breakfast tray in hand. A wide smile crossed my face and I sat up and looked at the tray.
"Good morning beautiful," he smiled at me showing his legendary dimples.
"You didn't have to do this ya know," I smiled at him as I looked down at the tray. There was an omelet filled with cheese, mushrooms, ham, and tomatoes. There were a few strips of bacon next to it covered in syrup just the way I liked it. Off the plate was a glass of orange juice with pulp and a single rose lying next to it.
He leaned down and kissed my forehead.
"I know I didn't, I wanted to." I sat up and he rest the tray on my lap and sat down across my me."Gemma and her friend are out for the day so I was thinking we could do something," he looked at me with mischief in his eyes.
"Sure, what do you wanna do?" I shoved the last of the bacon into my mouth.
"You'll just have to wait and see." he got off of the bed and walked to my side."C'mon, get dressed." I laughed as he pecked me on the lip and carried the tray out of the room.
I got off of the bed and went into the bathroom and started getting ready for the day ahead.***
"Are we there yet?" I asked for the millionth time in the last ten minutes.
"Almost, just keep your eyes closed," he laughed at my impatience and placed his hand on my thigh.
I was bouncing off the windows with anticipation. I usually hated suprises but I couldn't wait to see what Luke had planned for me. My heart beat picked up as I felt the car come to a halt."Can I open my eyed now?" I smiled.
"No, not yet." I heard his door slam and in a few seconds he was opening my door.He led me down a pathway and up some stairs until he finally opened a door and stopped.
"You can open your eyes now."I opened my eyes and gasped at the sight. We were on the mountain just beside the hollywood sign. The trees and moantains were breathtaking from this view and I couldn't help but smile.
"It's beautiful." I whispered. Luke wrapped his arms around me and but his chin on my shoulder.
"Not as beautiful as you." I smiled as he started kissing my neck and rocking my hips. I turned to face him but then he pulled away.
"But C'mon, this was just a detour." I groaned that this wasn't the suprise because I was anxious to know what it was.He led me back to the car and we drove for about 2 hours until we finally stopped. It was about nine o clock so it was getting dark.
"Okay, we're here." we got out of the car and went into an elevator. Then we walked up another flight of stairs until we reached the rooftop door.
"Close your eyes real quick," he said. I sighed and did as I was told.
He let me past throuhh the door way and I heard the door close.
I felt him grab my hand and he whispered in my ear,"okay, open them."I gasped at the sight in front of me. There were candles lit everywhere. Flower petals lay on the floor leading to a table surrounded by rose petals.
"Oh my god, Luke..." I was at a loss for words. It was so beautiful I couldn't be happier.
"It's beautiful isn't it?" he asked.
"It's amazing, how did you-"
"Lets just say I have connections." I turned to him and I saw a sparkle in his eye.
"Happy one month anniversary," he smiled. He placed a quick kiss to my lips then led me over to the table. It was a few feet away from the edge of the mountain. The mountain overlooked the city so all the lights looked amazing from this view.
We ate the dinner, which was medium rare steak with green beans and rice with red wine. Then Luke walked over to the corner of the mountain and pulled out a blanket.
We layed out the blanket and sat there looking out at the city lights with his arm wrapped around me and my head resting on his shoulder. It wasn't ling before we layed back and started looking at the stars.
Luke and I kept pointing out different constellations until I finally drifted off to sleep in the warmth of his arms around me.Sorry if this sucked, im kinda in a romantic mood rn
