"Hey baby wake up." I startled awake to see that I was outside of my home."hey, you're awake."
"When did we get here?" I said groggily. I looked at the time on the dashboard and saw that it was 1:30 am. "Shit."
"What's wrong?" he turned to mr and I sighed.
"I was supposed to be back by midnight. My dad's gonna kill me," I sighed.
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry is there anything I can-"
"Stop, it's okay, I can handle it." with that, I kissed Luke goodbye and got out of the car. I smiled as I watched him drive off before taking a deep breath and dreading the fight that was about to come.
I tried my best to open and close the door silently but as soon as I turned around he was right there in front of me.
"Where have you been?" his voice was stern and his expression blank.
"I was uh, I was at Gabby's party, I lied. Gabby was my other best friend and I told my dad that I was going to her party tonight.
"Get out." my eyes widened when I realized he was point ing behind me at the front door.
"But dad-"
"Don't fucking call me that you are not my child. Come back when you learn not to lie to my face."
I felt the tears welling in my eyes that he would say that to me. I wiped the stray tear from my face and turned aroujd slamking the door shut. I started walking fast although I gad no idea where I was going.
"Hey watch it!" yelled the cab driver who I ran in front of.

I had been walking for so long I lost track of time and I had no idea where I was.
By the look of things, I was in the part of town that always had crime going on.
I turned around and saw two figures walking behind me. I felt a sense of panic and picked up my speed. I turned around and they were still there. My eyes widened and I look for a way to escape. I looked around and saw an alley and practically jogged to it. When I looked back, the figures were gone and I released a breath I didn't realize I was holding.
I turned around and headed out of the alley only for my face to connect hard with a fist. My head spun as I fell to the floor in pain. It wasn't long before everything went dark...
