Chapter 1
Achara's POV
I woke up at 5:00, which wasn't necessary considering school starts at 8:00 and it takes me 20 minutes to get there, but mom said I needed to "review" my study again for today's test. I got out of bed and brushed my teeth and took a nice hot shower. I got out of the shower and put on the outfit I chose last night. A maroon hoodie paired with light-washed jeans. (A/n Again feel free to change up the outfit if it's not your style.)
I was reviewing my notes and finishing breakfast when Sienna texted me.
hey girl, I'm walking 2 ur house rn, ready 2 go? sent 7:36 am
gm Si and wow look whos on time ;-; sent 7:37 am
u cannot go a day without getting on my neveres ¬_¬ sent 7:37 am
I'm here sent 7:38 am
Coming sent 7:38
I walked out and Sienna was standing on the sidewalk in front of my door. She was wearing a crop top and ripped jeans with her lightly curled hair to the side, and the makeup made everything look put together. I on the other hand was a different story, my hair was in a messy ponytail, and I put on some light makeup. It would've looked fine if I didn't have the large ugly glasses that made me look like a nerd. My mom, as expected, wouldn't buy me contact lenses.
"Good morning Si," I greeted her.
"Hey," she said and smiled.

Sienna and I had first period together, English. Walking into Ms. Caylor's room is always so hard. Illene, Alex, and Liam have this class first period so guys from the basketball team are here and a few of Illene's friends are here too. We weave through the crowd in front of the door, I turned back to make sure Sienna was still with me I noticed Alex smiling at her and she returned it. When she was next to me again I raised an eyebrow and she waved her hands around gesturing it was nothing.
Like always class was chaotic, with the popular people and the crackheads in here it was understandable. During the 15 minute break between first and second period random comments were being screamed.
Some of them being "you sussy baka" and "are Illene and Liam dating yet" and a few comments about Alex and Illene's past relationship, I secretly snapped a pic of Sienna rolling her eyes at that. Ms. Caylor didn't really say anything, she was so chill.
When the bell rang Sienna rushed towards me and I showed her the pic I took earlier.
"Delete that right now," she whisper-yelled, trying to snatch my phone out of my hands. I started laughing and I accidentally bumped into Liam.
I stood there quite shocked and when I regained sense of what was going on, I apologized. He smiled at me and said, " No worries."
I was almost happy. keyword being almost. Because that was when Illene and her friends sent me the death glares.
The rest of 2nd, 3rd, 4th went by in a breeze and I walked towards the cafeteria and tried to find Sienna. She and I had A lunch together.
When I found her we walked to our usual spot outside on the benches, our other friends, Aliyah and Madelyn, were already waiting for us there.
"Hey Aliyah and Maddie," I smiled at them.
"Hey!" Aliyah said back with a huge grin. Maddie just smiled and waved.
Towards the end of lunch were heard a crash, my head whipped around to find Dexter on the ground with a chair underneath him. He groaned in pain.
"Dexter! Alex!" Ms. David yelled out. She was an old lady and she was the worst, no one liked her. And I mean no one. "Alex, we do not go around shoving people to the ground. Take Dexter to the nurse and then go to the office."
We all saw what happened, Ryan pushed Dexter to the ground and Alex was trying to help the latter up and Ms. David thought Alex pushed him to the ground.
Alex just shrugged and walked with Dexter into the school. I turned to find Sienna looking really concerned for Alex. I rolled my eyes and nudged her arm lightly, Sienna quickly regained her senses and looked away. Aliyah started oohing and Maddie smirked.
"Shut up," Sienna said and walked away to throw her tray away and I walked with her to the trash.

The rest of the day was chill, I took my test and got a 100/100, my mom better not nag me a week before my test again.
I walked out of the school building and waited for Sienna, while I was waiting Liam caught my attention. He was dribbling a basketball as he threw his head back laughing at something his friends were saying.
"Staring at the love of your life?" Sienna teased snapping me out of my thoughts.
"You mean the way you stare at Alex?" I teased back.
"Shut up," she said for the billionth time today.
We looked at each other and let out a laugh as we walked back home.
