Jackson and Serenity(harmony)

"I guess you're stuck with me.."

I get to show the new recruits where they must patrol. I do this every couple of days, it's started to get fucking annoying.

"Alright, line up Y'all!.."

"3, 2, 1! Thank you.. "

Not listening to me again eh..

"You lot are gonna follow me through this castle, I will assign you with another guard who has been here for a while. You will listen to them, they will show you how to do your job, so if you don't pay attention I will notice."

All the 28 guards seemed to understand, nodding at me one by one, not good enough.

"Give me a better answer! Tell me you understand!"

"Yes Sir/Ma'am, I understand!"

All the guards shouted back in a chorus, using different titles though.. I expected it. Its whatever at this point.

"To all of you that said Sir, good job. The rest of you, fix yourselves.."

"Alright, follow me. Keep in single file."

I led them throughout the castle, point at a guard and told them to stand with the older guard already there. I'd already told everyone the basics so I expected them to be there and prepared.

We got to the last area. Its a room with three colour tinted windows. All different hues but mostly yellow. Each window was seperated into three sections, in the best triangle each could have due to its werid triangle but boxy shaping. The floors are tile with tan and a darker brown shade. The walls a more yellow tan colour, the roof being a brown and two same colour pillars in the near middle of the room.

I look around and see no guard here for my newest to follow, only a poor butler standing there.

"Why are you here? Where is my guard."

"I-I'm sorry Sir but your father failed to inform you of his execution yesterday.. You might have to teach this one on your own."

Shit. Father never tells me when a execution happens, I'm the only one who really needs to know this information.

"Alright, thank you. Take your break and get back to your duties."

"Thank you, will do."

I turn around to look at which guard is left. It's Harmony- I guess that was planned out better then expected.

I take a good look at her for a moment. Her hair gleams more yellow then white, she wasn't looking at me but out the window. Even though she could chill out now she was in guard position.

"So.. I guess you're stuck with me."

"Yeah."

She replies slowly, this is more awkward then I thought it would be already.

"I guess let's get started, eh? I'm gonna show you the path you'll be taking daily, I'll be with you for the first couple of days but after that you're finna be alone. I'll also show basic procedures but I'm sure you've got it down by now. Understood?"

She nods, "Understood, Sir."
