i take his hands of my face
he gives me a confused but worried look
"camilo? why kiss me then date another girl? it just doesnt make sense to me"
he stares at me blankly
"you heard about it to huh"
"whats the supposed to mean"
"y/n , im not dating julia! she made it up , and i dont know what to do , nearly the whole town thinks we are , i dont even like her , especially not after what she said to you at antonios ceremony"
i look at him
"s-she made it up?" i wipe my face since it was still wet from crying
"yes! do you really think i would date someone else?" he says to me
"well i dont kno-" he cuts me off
"y/n!! i like you!! and only YOU" he says while staring into my eyes
"im sorry that all of this is happening, i really am , and the reason i avoided you earlier was because of all this" he looks down
i put my hand on his shoulder
"n-no dont be sorry , i should be sorry , im the one that thought you were dating her"
"no hermosa , its okay"
he smiles at me
i smile back

mirabel runs around the corner
"y/n!!" she runs up to me
"are you oka-" she turns to camilo
"YOU! kissing y/n less the a week ago then going off with some girl? how ignorant can a guy b-" i cut her off
"mira!! hes not dating her , she made the whole thing up"
camilo had a scared look on his face
i wanted to laugh but now wasnt the time
"oh theyre not?" she laughs nervously
"sorry cami" she says while patting his back

"why did she make that up?" i turn to look at the both of them
"well , shes madly inlove with camilo , and has been for ever now" mirabel says to me
"y-ya its getting really weird" camilo says
"what are we going to do?" i ask
"im not sure" mirabel replys
"well , first of all i need everyone to know me and julia arent dating , because one thats just embarrassing like look at her shes so mean!" he says while laughing
i laugh
"and two ... nobody likes her" mirabel says
camilo laughs

"so whats the plan?" camilo asks
"hm here come to my room , we can figure something out in there" mirabel says while pulling my arm

we make our way to mirabels room
we walk inside and she shuts the door behind us
"its 4:30, in 30 minutes the party is going to be held" mirabel says while looking at us dead in the eyes
"okay and?" camilo says
"and thats when practically the whole town is going to be here right?"
"right??" i say
"so we can try tell everyone there that you and julia arent dating" mirabel says while looking at camilo

"mirabel thats a good plan and all but how are we going to do that?" i ask
"oh well i haven't figured that out yet"
camilo sighs
"this is a disaster" he says while placing his face in his hands
i put my hand on his shoulder
"look , its going to be okay , we will figure something out" i say smiling at him
he smiles back and kisses my cheek
i go red

"GUYS NOWS NOT THE TIME TO MAKE ME FEEL SINGLE" mirabel says
camilo giggles

i was still red but i had the biggest smile on my face
"thats so cute" camilo says to me
"wh-what is??" i say back to him
"you going red" he laughs

"AHEM!! GUYS"
"jeez sorry" camilo laughs
"ya ya whatever" mirabel says while laughing and rolling her eyes
