Chapter 16: Necklace

Merlia POV
We spent the whole day together talking and holding hands. It was finally night time and we decided to go to a park and look at the lights that they decorated the park with.
"This has been such an amazing day.." I said to him smiling. He looked at me and squeezed my hand.
"I'm glad that you had a great time. I had a great time too!" He said happily. We sat together at a bench.
"Sooo..." I said to him. He smiled.
"I have something for you." He said. He took a small box out of his pocket.
Omg is he proposing but this is just our first date. My mind went blank and I started to freak out a little.
"Merlia????" He said waving a hand in front of my face.
"Sorry what were you saying" I said looking at the box.
"I want to give you this necklace." He opened the box revealing a half heart shape necklace.
"This is so beautiful." I said to him speechless. But I was a little confused. "Where's the other half?" I asked him. He took out his phone.
"The other half is on my keychain for my phone." He said smiling. I smiled and my cheeks went hot.
We sat there awkwardly staring at each other. The next moment my mind went blank.

Jungkook POV
I kissed her. Her lips were soft.

Merlia POV
We were kissing. Omygosh did we just.
He looked away looking really red.
"S-sorry." He said with embarrassment.
"Why are you apologizing?" I asked. "I thought it was okay..." I said laughing a little. He sighed with relief. We walked back to the car.
When we got in the car he didn't start the car.
"Merlia? Do you wanna be my girlfriend?" He asked.
