"GOODNESS!" Madam Pomfrey exclaimed, her hand over her mouth. "What happened, dear?"
Olivia was taken aback by her reaction. "What? Why?" she tried to stare at her back, obviously failing.
"You are all bruised up. What happened?" she repeated.
Liv figured she probably shouldn't tell her what had actually happened since she'd probably tell McGonagall, given they were close friends, and she'd take the points away for some reason.
So she lied. "I fell from the stairs, tripped. I didn't think it would be that big of a deal." she wasn't sure how convincing that was but decided to go with it.
Madam Pomfrey squinted her eyes for a lond second, and nodded. "It was a big fall then. Is anywhere else is hurting? Legs maybe?" seems like she bought it. Olivia thought.
Liv nodded, her legs were hurting a lot too.
"When was this?" she asked writing down her data on a paper.
"Yesterday."
She nodded and headed to a shelve, shortly coming back with two small bottles on her hands. "Here. This will take the pain away. And this one will get rid of the bruises, it'll take an hour or two." Liv took the potions and examined them. "Drink up then."
"This one is green. The other one yellow... you see that?" she scrunched her nose in disgust.
Pomfrey waved her off. "Yes, yes. Not the most appetizing colors but, would you like to feel better or not?"
"It looks like piss." she added before drinking each one in one sip. She groaned. "Tastes like it too."
"Well it's not butterbeer, is it?" she sassed while touching her forehead for a fever, Olivia wasn't sure why but she didn't question her. "You can stay here for you first class if you want but you have to assist to the next." she commented before leaving.
Olivia decided to stay in the hospital wing, she did have potions first thing so she found it better to not go, getting out of potions was the best thing that came out of the troll's appearance.
She took out her notebook. Good thing I brought a distraction. she thought.
She drew the troll, she was recalling every feature and copying it down, every wrinkle, every mole she remembered.
After finishing she held it up to her face. "Guess I got myself an annecdote, huh?" she scoffed ripping out the page, folding it and leaving it in her pocket that way she'd remember to send it to her family with the small story of how she fought a mountain troll.
( ... )
"Why are you in the hospital wing?" Raven sat down beside her bed.
Olivia sat cross-legged on her bed, the her notebook sitting on her lap. She'd been coloring the troll for more visual effect, when she finished, she begun to write the letter she was to send home attached to the drawing.
"Avoiding potions." she shrugged. Raven raised an eyebrow, not believing her for a second. "There was an accident, but I'm all better now."
"Accident?"
