By the begging of grade 7, 2020, Shayan was able to control his powers, he would spend the school year training and looking for possible ways to become even more powerful.
Despite his grades dropping over the past 2 years, he was still incredibly intelligent. Shayan had the idea of converting everyday energy and electricity into new and improved powers (translate):

I'm writing this in a rush, school starts in 10 minutes and I just woke. I had a dream about me and Jiya being alone in the boiling room, it's become kinda like our secret spot. Anyway, in my dream, the machine things blew up and destroyed the whole first floor. Everyone got hurt except for me and Jiya, I protected us with my powers. I knew my powers could never be more powerful than an explosion of electricity, but, and I know this might sound crazy, what is my powers Were electricity? I have to go but I'll think of something that will help us.

Remember that girl Kassidy (Kasidi) I was talking about, the one that reminds me of Cassiah. Today was her birthday and I made her cry (uwu). I knew it! I knew Cassiah was coming to haunt me or something I don't care, she was crying, she showed signs of weakness. I have I few things to update you on before I continue with my plans for becoming powerful. In less than 2 months I will be a teenager it's time I start getting on a roll with these girls. All my friends are dating girls and I couldn't bear the thought of them calling me gay or bringing up that moment from grade 5. I wasn't gonna risk my friendship with Jiya so I took another opportunity that was so easily handed. I date this girl named Diana (Dyanna) She's pretty. She's ok, I don't think she was for me though, so I called it off. I'm too worried about girls anymore I'm gonna concentrate on my powers. I've been examining the boiling room and other sources of electricity around Bakersfield like lights and the outdoor powerbox and thinking of a way I can safely extract the energy. Since the last time I wrote in November, I've done lots of research. This might sound stupid but I was thinking of magically modifying some tomato sauce to help with the energy extraction. I read online somewhere that tomatoes are very good electrical conductors. I don't really know at the moment. Tomorrow is the last day before winter break. I'm going to take one last look at the boiling room so I can get lots of training and research done during my time off school.
