I Can't Believe What I'm Hearing!!

It had been about an hour since the both of them had arrived at Terus home, Teru kept trying to ask Akane about what had happened, but every time he asked Akane just dodged the question or stayed completely silent, Teru soon realized he wasn't going to get anything out of the shorter male and finally started to try and make conversation about other things.

"So, what your favorite animal?"

"I personally like crows, but cats are nice as well"

"Crows? I've never met someone who's told me their favorite animal was a crow"

"Well apparently you have"

"I guess you're right, I expected you to like dogs since your mom has one"

"Fuck no! I'm terrified of dogs!"

Teru was quite confused, and his confused look caught Akane's eye, I mean, how can his mother own a dog, but Akane is petrified of them.

"I'll just give you a quick explanation, when me and Aoi were younger our neighbors aggressive dog got loose while we were walking to school so I pushed her away and was attacked by the dog, I've been terrified of them ever since."

"Oh uhm, I'm sorry for making you bring it up."

"It's fine, if you want, I can show you a few of the funny looking scars I got from it!"

"That would be nice"

So, for the next hour or 2 Akane was showing Teru his scars from the dog, there were quite a lot of them but a lot of them looked hilarious, Kou overheard the laughing and had gone to Terus room to ask them to quiet down a bit because Tiara was asleep, after that they just kept laughing and laughing over Akane's scars, after that Akane started telling him stories on other scars. After a little bit Akane brought up on that once again, confused Teru.

"Well, this one is from my siblings toppling me into our table"

"Huh? I thought you were an only child?"

"Nope, they aren't my mom's kids but their dad and papa's kids, we're all 1 year apart from each other"

"So, your dad cheated on your mom? Cause you've mentioned they didn't divorce until you were 8"

"Well not exactly, my mom was cheating, and my dad found out, so he finally got with Sota"

"Wow, I didn't know your mom was a cheater"

After that they just talked, not about anything specific, they just talked to talk. They talked about loads of different things, such as siblings, parents, and what they thought of each other. It was pretty sweet conversations until Akane laid his head on Terus shoulder.

"Hm? Is something wrong?"

Teru asked, his face was a light shade of pink from the other boy resting his head on his shoulder.

"No, nothing's wrong, I just..."

Teru glanced at the boy with anticipation, wondering what he was going to say.

"I just feel like myself when I'm with you, like I don't have to worry about you saying anything weird or you being somebody you're not to get something from me."

After Akane let those words leave his lips Teru had to contain his excitement from Akanes words, everything he'd done was worth it, Akane is talking about him as if he loves him, his life felt as if it was complete.

"Oh. My. God. Did he really say that about me??? There's no way... Right? That means... What I did to that guy was worth it!! I actually did something to get me a step closer! Maybe one day me and Akane will be dating... Maybe we'll even be married! And-"

As Terus thoughts began to grow, Akane got concerned by the look Teru had on his face.

"Hey, Teru, you alright?"

"Huh? Oh, yeah, I'm alright"

"Well, that's good, but we should probably go to bed, we have school tomorrow"

"Oh right! but you don't have your uniform, how are you supposed to go to school?"

  "...I didn't think of that, I could probably just swing by my house tomorrow before school and get it"

"Oh, Alright! Speaking of your house though, what in the world happened when I tried dropping you off?"

Akane froze for a moment, then yawned.

"Well would you look at that! It's getting late I think I'm gonna go to bed! I'll just make my way to the couch-"

"No, no, I'll sleep on the couch, you take the bed."

"No, it's your house and your bed, you're sleeping in your bed"

"Well... I mean if you're up to it we can share the bed...?" 

"I... Um..."

Akanes face turned a light shade of pink, he began to turn his face away from Teru.

"I mean... If you don't mind, I guess we can..."

"Okay then we will! Do you wanna borrow any of my clothes to sleep in? I don't think jeans are the most comfortable thing to sleep in"

"Yea, if you don't mind, that is"

"Well, you can borrow my clothes! I don't mind!"

Teru went into his closet and pulled out a pair of clothes for Akane to wear, after he handed the clothes to Akane he was quickly shooed away and out the bedroom door. Teru stood outside of his door for a minute and waited for Akane to open the door to let him back in. After Akane let him back in he could barely contain himself, but he didn't want to seem weird, so he managed but struggled to keep his thoughts to himself.

"Oh my fucking God he looks so fucking adorable I wish he could just stay here forever and only wear my clothes and-"

"Teru? Are you ready for bed?"

"Huh? Oh, yeah, yeah I am"

They both began to get situated for bed, they were both facing each other, Teru struggled to not grab him tightly and fall asleep with him in his arms

"Oh, and before we go to bed, I should probably warn you I tend to talk in my sleep? I'm not completely sure why I do it, but I fell asleep on the couch one night after a long night and Kou said while he was making breakfast I was talking in my sleep"

"Well thanks for the warning at least, you probably would've scared the shit out of me if you didn't warn me."

"Well then I'm glad I remembered"

"Well anyways, goodnight, Teru"

"Goodnight Akane"

After telling each other goodnight, Akane turned his back to Teru to make himself a bit more comfortable, and after a few minutes, they closed their eyes and fell asleep.
