-The person who tampered with the demigods' powers was a half-blood: half-wizard and half-god. A child of Hecate, they felt abandoned by Olympus but weren't considered 'magic' enough to study at Hogwarts, and so exacted revenge on the demigods. This is why Hecate first involved them, as she was aware that her child had such a plan but couldn't interfere.
-The demigods and wizards actually ended up very good friends after clearing up that the Romans were not, in fact, Death Eaters. They remained in touch by owl.
-After leaving Hogwarts, the demigods slowly forget the knowledge bestowed upon them by Hecate. Annabeth was less than happy.
-The wizards were permitted to visit Camp Half-Blood, but never did as their careers got in the way.
