Have you ever tried looking yourself in the eyes in a mirror when you're crying. It's a level of vulnerable that's hard to come by. Watching each teardrop fall, you feel like you're not even looking at yourself. It's so easy to tell the person in the mirror how much you hate them and describe exactly what you hate about them. But try looking that person in the mirror, who's silently sobbing, that they're beautiful. You can't. Because it's a lie. You know you're not beautiful, you might feel so sometimes, but you still hide your stomach, you still hold your head at a certain angle to not have a double chin, you still get embarrassed when changing in front of people. Pathetic.
