When the start of the next moon arrives, You rise from your bed and begin to get ready for the rest of the day. Seraphine speaks to You along the way.
Seraphine: I wonder what this next battle is going to bring us... We have no idea when the emperor is going to finally get sick of what we're doing and push back against us.
You nod and say that You want to get as much done before then as possible.
Seraphine: I agree... I can only hope the others know what they're doing on the matter. They have to have something in mind, right?
You shrug and say that You will simply have to see.
Seraphine: I suppose so... Well, there's no time like the present, huh?
You nod and make your way to the cardinals' room. You find the Black Eagles gathered inside.
Chris: Alright, everyone... I think I've figured out where we're going to be striking back next.
Florence: That was fast. I would have expected it to take a bit longer to pull together a battle plan.
Zelhira: It's not like we have any shortage of targets. The Empire is a minefield to navigate as a rebel right now.
Chris: We're going to be moving to Einem territory next if there are no objections.
Hegias: Einem lands... That's where you're from, right, Aquillus?
Aquillus: Yes... I knew it was going to come to this sooner or later.
Callisto: Are you alright with that? Fighting against your family... I can't imagine it's easy regardless of your relationship with them.
Aquillus: It's what has to be done. They made their decision, and I've made mine too.
Polly: We'll just have to be careful to not do anything that they could consider a step out of line. You never know what they might consider a slight.
Herwig: I wish I could say something to prove you wrong, but I think we all know it won't be that simple...
Chris: Either way, this is the best option I can see for us next. We're going to have to be careful as we move forward, but this is probably going to be the next step for us to take to reclaim the Empire.
Aquillus: My parents have been fighting back alongside the emperor ever since the takeover five years ago.
Zelhira: I can't imagine that was easy to deal with... How were you able to put up with something like that?
Aquillus: ...It wasn't easy. I'll just leave it at that.
Hegias: I guess that's just more reason for us to keep pushing back against them and do what we can to reclaim the Empire from the other nobles there.
Herwig: Do you think that you'll be able to fight back against them, Aquillus? This isn't going to be a simple situation.
Aquillus: I'm not going to let them stop us. You can consider that a promise.
Florence: I guess that's all we really need to hear for now... Where do you think we should start?
Polly: We're going to march straight to the heart of the matter. The best thing we can do is take care of them before they can plan a counterattack.
Callisto: I guess this is going to get the attention of everyone else if they see what we're getting up to, huh?
Tuncay: Sounds like we might be able to look forward to quite a few allies siding with us soon then, huh?
