Laughter. That's what could be heard throughout town as the Bakusquad wandered around, being loud as ever and not giving a damn about it. It had become a weekly thing, the four of them walking around town, shopping, getting dinner, and exploring. Mina usually led the group, picking out where they shopped and what street they went to, and they all took turns picking out where to eat. That week it had been Sero's turn and he chose to eat at a Filipino restaurant, with no complaints from the others.

After saying goodbye the teens went their separate ways, going home for the weekend. It had been two weeks since Bakugo had met Kaminari and every day he found himself thinking about him, however, he didn't know why and it frustrated him to no end. Why were his thoughts flooded by this teenage boy who he had only met once and barely talked to? Maybe it was his personality, maybe it was his clumsiness, maybe it was his looks.

Lost in thought, Bakugo continued walking towards his house, surrounded by the scents of cinnamon, pies, and caramel. Suddenly, the scent of fresh coffee found its way to him and he realized where he was, at Lavender's, the coffee shop where the boy who had been occupying his mind was employed. "Hmm," he hummed in confusion. Lavender's wasn't on the route he was taking to get home, in fact, it was in the opposite direction, so he was bewildered as to why he was on that street. Had he taken a wrong turn somewhere? Was he so lost in thought that he didn't realize where he was going? Perhaps, even, he unconsciously led himself to the boy he was thinking about.

Whatever it was, Bakugo wouldn't say he was upset that it happened, in reality, he was grateful, though he would never admit it, to get a chance to see Kaminari again. As he made his way to the door he almost tripped over a cat, stopping himself right as he was about to run into it. The cat, who was sprawled out on a spot of concrete where the sun was shining, had a dark brown coat with white-colored paws and was extremely fluffy. He looked up at Bakugo and meowed loudly, stretching as he rolled onto his back. The blonde bent down and scratched behind the cat's ear, checking his nametag and seeing the name "Espresso" on it. 'Hmm, Kaminari wasn't lying, the cats really are named after types of coffee.'

Standing back up, Bakugo stepped around Espresso and continued his way over to the door, making sure to look out for any more cats that might be lounging on the ground. As he walked in he was hit with an even stronger scent of coffee than what he smelled outside, breathing it in as he got in the short line to order. There was barely anyone there, just a few people on laptops here and there as well as the people in line to order. He glanced around the room, noticing that some of the furniture had been moved around, and kept an eye out for Kaminari. Before he had time to finish looking for the boy it was his turn to order.

At the counter was a purple-haired woman with large, round glasses, a beanie, and freckles. She wore a light green, baggy sweater and overalls, having all kinds of pins and buttons on the straps. "Hello there, what can I get you today?" She asked in an overly sweet tone that made Bakugo want to walk right out the door.

"I'll have a small black coffee," he answered.

"Alrighty, and anything else?"

He took a moment to ponder his choices, he was in the mood for bread and they had a wide variety to choose from. They had melon pan, anpan, curry pan, shoku pan, coppe pan, and many other options. "I'll have an anpan," he decided.

"Okie dokie," Isabelle said as she told him his total and handed him his bread. He took hold of his pastry semi-excitedly, remembering how delicious the last pastry he ate from Lavender's was. "Your coffee will be ready shortly!"

Bakugo decided to sit in one of the less populated corners, away from the windows. Once he sat down he quickly continued searching for Kaminari, disappointingly not seeing him anywhere. He sat back with a huff, annoyed that the teen was nowhere to be found, feeling like he wasted his time by going there. Mocha came up to him and laid on his lap, stretching out before she curled up into a ball. He pet her for a few minutes, taking a few bites of his anpan while he waited for his coffee to be ready.
