Bakugo stayed after class, per Aizawa's request, and huffed a little at losing some of his rare free time. He couldn't think of a reason why Aizawa wanted to talk to him, he has the best grades in the class, has been working on his temper, and participates in class. Once the last student left the classroom, Aizawa cleared his throat and motioned Bakugo over.

"So, how is he?" Aizawa asked. Oh. That's what he wants.

"Better," was all he said. A part of Bakugo wanted to keep Kaminari all to himself. He was his. His friend, his boyfriend, his comfort. Of course he had no reason to be jealous of his teacher, but that didn't stop his brain from feeling that way. He just wanted to go home to him.

Aizawa stared at him for a moment, expression lightly dusted with concern. "And what about you?" Bakugo started to fidget. "Are you adjusting well to living off campus again?"

"Yes, I'm fine," Bakugo scoffed and started towards the door. "I'm going home,"

"Be careful," Aizawa laid a gentle hand on his shoulder. He didn't know why, but he had an unsettling feeling and it had to do with Bakugo and his friend. After giving the shoulder a quick squeeze, he let the teen go.

Bakugo was a little disturbed. His teacher rarely gave them physical affection and the way he acted was unusual, almost like Aizawa knew something he didn't. As he was filled with a sudden sense of urgency, the blond boy sped up his pace. The closer he got to home, the quicker he became, almost at a full sprint by the time he arrived at the front door. He unlocked it and swung the door open.

When he was met with a pair of beautiful, golden eyes, he scoffed and took a deep breath. He felt dumb, assuming something he had no evidence for. He chugged the full bottle of water he had been carrying, trying to put out the fire in his lungs.

"Katsuki?" Kaminari's sweet voice filled the air. "What's wrong? Are you okay?"

Bakugo walked over and rested his head on the other's shoulder, taking in his honey-like presence. He is sweet, he lures you in and traps you with his kindness, and you can't get enough of him. Sometimes, Bakugo is afraid that he is around the other so much that he'll get a cavity. Not just one but a whole mouth full. Rotted straight to the roots just by being in his presence.

"I'm fine," he answered after coming down from a sugar high. Bakugo felt the other wrap his arms around him, locking him in a comforting hug. Kaminari was looking at him expectantly, waiting for a real answer. "I was just... Aizawa was acting weird and I got freaked out,"

"How was he acting?"

"Overly concerned?" In all honesty, Bakugo has no idea how to describe it. "It was just out of the norm for him, made me paranoid I guess."

"Hm, welp, I'm fine and you're home safe," Kaminari gave him a quick peck. "Go change, there's this new movie I want to watch!"

As he listened to Kaminari rave about the movie, a fond smile formed on his face. If anything happened to this precious human-being, he would drop everything just to be by his side.

It was a rainy Tuesday and Bakugo could not be more bored, stuck in English listening to Present Mic talk very loudly. That's probably why he found himself scrolling through news outlets, catching up on the latest crimes and misfortunes. It was the typical stuff, petty burglaries and car wrecks, stuff that happens every hour when you live in a largely populated city. Every few minutes he came across an article about a building catching on fire, but there was one article that made his heart drop.

Only posted 10 minutes ago the article read, "Local Coffee Shop 'Lavender's' Burnt to the Ground."

The world stopped for Bakugo, the words coming out of Present Mic's mouth were muffled and his chest ached, he felt like he was drowning and had no chance of being rescued. He suddenly bolted up, ignoring the startled looks his classmates gave him, and grabbed his bag.
