The first few days were weird, Kaminari not used to having someone constantly in his space and Bakugo having to adjust to living outside of the dorms again. His classmates asked questions, of course, which he avoided by claiming they were "too nosy for their own good" and storming off. There was also lingering tension between the two, causing many awkward moments and making it difficult for either of them to focus on helping the other properly.

After a week or so of living together, Bakugo came home from a long day at school, visibly stressed and exhausted. Kaminari was sitting on the couch, relaxing on one of the rare days he didn't have homework or a project to work on. He looked up and his calming electric eyes met tired dim ones and he knew this was the starting point of their new journey.

"Hey," Kaminari smiled at him, hoping to brighten his day.

"Hey," replied a rough, overused voice. Bakugo set his belongings down and fished a water bottle out of his bag.

"How was school today?" He prompted, not wanting to outright tell him he looked as tired as a tractor trailer.

"It was fine," he sighed, and took a large sip of his water. "Fuckin' Aizawa Sensei put us through hell again today!" Bakugo harshly placed his bottle down on the counter and flopped down next to Kaminari.

"Is he really that bad?" Kaminari asked, scooting closer to the boy.

"He's insane," Bakugo turned so he could fully face the other and continued. "First he started off our day with a pop quiz on a subject he hasn't even mentioned, evolution of quirks! And of course fucking Deku knew all the answers while everyone else was shitting their pants. Then, immediately after he made us all go outside and run laps around the school, do you know how long that is? Oh, and then of course the hero training activity he made us do today was batshit crazy. He made us do a simulation where some of us were trapped under a building and the others had to rescue us, and of course I was one of the ones who got trapped! And the worst part was we didn't know it was a simulation until after everything was over, so yes he's that bad and," he took a breath. "And I'm rambling,"

Kaminari intertwined their hands and flushed a tiny bit, not having done anything since they shared a kiss. "It's okay Katsuki, I want you to tell me these things, we agreed right?"

"Tch," he looked away, facing the floor. "Yeah," he sighed once more and looked at Kaminari, placing his free hand on top of their intertwined ones. He doesn't know how to be affectionate. With Midoriya it's easy, they've known each other since birth, but Kaminari? It's like he's learning how to hold a baby for the first time. He doesn't know what he likes and what he doesn't, what will make him blush and what will make him uncomfortable.

"Anyways," Kaminari broke the momentary silence, a small blush on his face. "I was hoping that we could go on a little date tonight," he looked at Bakugo with sparks in his eyes, full of hope and excitement.

"Sure," Bakugo couldn't hold back the small smile that formed on his face. This was new, and it was honestly scary, but he never wanted to let go of this feeling. "What do you have in mind?"

Hand in hand, leaving footprints in the snow, the older boy quietly listened as the younger rambled on and on about the customers he deals with at his job. Kaminari had suggested they go and see a movie, and although Bakugo usually doesn't like movies he couldn't say no when the other looked so hopeful. He even ended up enjoying it, already planning to talk Izuku into going to see it again with him, not that it would be that hard.

As Kaminari continued talking, Bakugo took in their surroundings. They were walking along a brightly lit street, with many people laughing and enjoying themselves. The night life never ceases, even in the middle of winter. Being reminded of the cold, Bakugo pulled his scarf up so that it covered more of his neck and moved slightly closer to Kaminari, wrapping his arm around the others.
