I was just 13
But then the sun kept rising
And life went on
The next time I thought the world was ending
I was only 18
But the earth kept spinning
And life went on
The last time I thought the world was ending
I was merely 21
But the tsunami waves subsided
And life went on
The funny thing about life is
No matter how many times the world seems to be ending
It just keeps going on
