Harmony Gossamer was a 25 year old girl. Though she thought she had her whole life planned out, something was out of place. She had a job as Secretary for the office at South Park View high school. Right after she got out of collage she got a job and an apartment. She lived alone with her cat, Kaboodle. She calls him Kabo for short. One Friday, she went out to a local bar just to relax and reduce stress from the week. She ran into a man there, that's were our story begins.

Harmony pushed the glass door open, and took a step into Toni's bar & grill. A little bell rang as the door shut behind her. She walked up to the bar and took a seat on a tall bar-stool. A skimpily-dressed woman behind the bar walked up to her and asked,

"What'll ya have?"

"Captain and coke, please."

Harmony glanced over to the corner of the bar were everyone else was looking. There was a TV mounted on the wall, and some football game was going on. She didn't care, she dug out her phone from her pocket, stuck her headphones into her ears, and turned up her music. At just about that time her bartender came with her drink. Through all the "Whoo!"'s and hooting and hollering, she could take a step back and think about life.

She must have been staring at the same wall for a good fifteen minuets before she got a tap on her back. She freaked out, turned around, and ripped the headphones out of her ears. It was a man, somewhere around her age, he had short black hair, and mesmerizing blue eyes.

"Are you okay?" He asked her.

"Yeah I'm fine." She told him, confused.

He sat down on the bar stool next to her.

"What's  your name?" He asked her.

"Harmony."

"Very beautiful name.  I'm Bryce."

He extended his arm out towards me to motion he wanted to shake her hand. So she did.

"Nice to meet you." She said.

"Same to you."

Conversation went on, and it ended with them exchanging numbers.

She drove home at around 9:30. Walked up the three flights of stairs, unlocked her door and burst through her door. She gently set down her purse on the counter next to the stove. She fed Kaboodle, and plugged her phone in, and went to bed. Not even an hour later, her phone beeped. She, startled, rolled over and looked at her phone.

681-572-6395/ Hey, is this Harmony? It's Bryce.

She giggled, put his contact into her phone and then replied.

Harmony/ Hey! Ya, It's Harmony.

Bryce/ Hey! I'm sorry to bug you, but I was wondering if you'd like to hang out tomorrow.

Harmony/ No problem, and that sounds great! I'd love to.

Bryce/ Awesome! Where and when?

Harmony/ Well, lets make a deal. You pick a time, I'll pick a place.

Bryce/ Alright. How about 6 / 7?

Harmony/ That's good. Pezini's just opened down the road, do you like Italian?

Bryce/ Love it! And that sounds great. I'll see you tomorrow at 6:30?

Harmony/ Sure. See you then.

She set her phone down and rolled back over. She fell back asleep with all the emotions a human could possibly feel all at once,

Fear, excitement, joy, embarrassment, worry, the list goes on. Yet she still had enough yen in her, to calm herself down, and fall back asleep.
