A BEGINNING TO AN END- RICK RILEY

After ice cream with the team we all started to head back to the dorms. All of us still thrilled over the JV-varsity game.

"ALRIGHT ! WE SHOWED THEM TONIGHT" Charlie yells. "YEAHH!" we all chant, honestly this whole night with my teammates made me forget about everything, giving me a break!

"SEE YOU GUYS TOMORROW " Connie yells pulling Julie and I to our dorm. "so, y/n wheres luis?" Connie asks. I stopped walking, the question I had avoided all night-

"Oh um- Connie there's a lot I have to explain" I say with a sigh. "You sure? You don't have to if you're not comfortable y/n" Connie reassures me. "It'll feel good to talk to you guys about this dont worry" I say smiling, wrapping my arms around the two shorter girls.

We head back to our dorms and get ready for the night. "So y/n you sure you want to tell us?" Julie asks. I sigh. "Come" I wave them over to my bed. As i get comfortable they sit down on my bed.

- TIME SKIP -

"Woah. he left you?? FOR MINDY??!!!" Connies voice raises and she starts standing up. "SHHHH" I hush her "OTHER PEOPLE SLEEP NEXT DOOR..." I whisper yell. "Sorry, but still thats. Please tell me you did something to him" connie says hopefully.

"Oh don't worry, I slapped him not much but you kno-" I get cut off by Julie and Connie both hugging me. "Guys I'm ok !!" I reassure them "we know but still thats a lot y/n" Julie says. I lightly hug them back.

"Now-" Julie says letting go of me "-that still doesn't explain why Rick was in the locker room" I knew I forgot something... "Oh, He just wanted to talk about what just happened, since we're both dealing with the same thing and all" I say telling half of the truth. Normally I would've told them, but for some reason- I care about being trustworthy towards Riley. WHAT IS HAPPENING-

"OHHH- wait, whyd he comfort you- he doesn't like any of us" Connie say. "Something im also trying to figure out" I say "ok guys it's getting late- im gonna head to the showers"

"Ok night y/n !" they say at the same time, I smile at them. I gather all of my stuff for the shower and head out. I wasn't paying attention, getting lost in my thoughts, then I run into a strong chest causing me to stumble back. I look up and see, Riley?!

now... tell me why I can FEEL- YES FEEL. My face heat up a flush pink... ew I can FEEL it- what in the hell is this-

"Oh hey y/n !" Rick says. "Hey Riley, oh also, I've thought about what you asked me" I say looking into his eyes. At this point, I don't think I realized his facial structure. Chiseled jawline, dark brown hair, light but dark brown eyes- UH UNN WHY AM I-

"anddd?" he says dragging the word on with a slight smile on his face. "I'll do it, but- we'll have to set some ground rules" I say.

I could see this spark in his eyes, was he happy? I slightly smile at the fact he's smiling over me expecting an award... "Thank you so so so much y/n !!" he says ecstatic, wrapping his arms around me bringing me into a warm embrace lifting me off the ground.

" Woahh Riley, trying to kill me already?" I say, he laughs and puts me down "Y/n, don't tell anyone about this... ok?-" he looks to me "hmm I dont knowwwwww"I say with a smile

"Ok so, meet me at my dorm tomorrow so we can set the rules??" I say looking a Rick again, getting lost into his eyes... NO WTF

"yeah sure ! be ready around 7:30 !" "Ok bye Riley! "
I stood there, forgetting why I was out there, I couldn't stop thinking about Rick.

What is it that I'm "feeling"'???
