"HEY HANDS OFF HER RICK!"

Great, just great. I feels Ricks grip tighten around me as we walk up to Luis. I then feel his breath on my ear as he whispers "Just try your best to ignore them ok?" His voice sounded reassuring, soft, the exact opposite of what I would normally hear.

"Did you not hear me?" is he serious right now? Hes the one cheated who on ME. Not the other way around.

I turn and see Mindy gawking her eyes at us. good. Exactly what we both wanted. We make it to my first class and Rick wraps his arms around me. I immediately hugged him back. hmm, weird.

He then whispers in my ear "Good luck." and walks away. I was about to enter the classroom when I hear a voice call out for me "Wait y/n you forgot something!" I turn around and see Rick running back.

He runs back up and whispers in my ear "just, go with it?" Before I can question him he places a kiss on my cheek then walks away. I stand there, getting redder than I would've liked...

'WHY- WHYD HE- he's not helping me figure out these so called "feelings" I'm developing...' I then walk into class, unable to take my mind off of what happened in the hallway.

!SLAM! I shake slightly as someone slammed their hands on my desk, I look up and it's none other than Luis. I forgot we had this class together... "You needed something?" I said already knowing the answer.

"Why was Rick holding you like that in the hallway" I roll my eyes. "Why do you even care?" he then looks, sad? Why is he sad? If anything I should be the sad one, but im not... that's a good thing, right?

"Y/n come on, you know I obviously still care about you..." I knew that look, the famous guilt trip look, I had went to Miami to visit Luis before our school year started. He used that look on his parents a lot. I mean a lot, not in a bad way, just when he asked for 'privacy' between us. I didn't think he would ever use it on me but, here we are.

"Luis you think I don't know you well enough to know your facial expressions?" I see his face drop, then instantly brings back that cocky smirk. "See you know me too well!" not the switch up... "if you're still looking for an answer to your question you're not getting one." I say bluntly, I was tired of his bullshit-

"Fine, I see I'll get it sooner or later" he then gets up and walks to his seat. Finally, peace and quiet, for now...

!RING RING!

The bell rings, as the teacher starts their lecture I start to zone it out. Thinking about what happened in the hallway once more.

'Do I- like Rick Riley?'
