Goh yawned and checked his phone. 1:00 AM.
He had been pretty sleep-deprived the last few days, and all he really did at night was scroll on his phone and stare at the ceiling.
Today was a Thursday evening (morning technically), and Goh knew he had tests and assignments due tomorrow, but he didn't bother to try and finish them.
Suddenly he heard a 'Ding!' come from his phone and noticed that Ash had messaged him.
Ash Goh
hey, u awake again tonight?
yeah... I couldn't sleep much. wbu??
i was just checking in... I figured you would be awake.
yup. pretty sleep-deprived.
Well, u bored?
A bit. why?
We could meet up downtown rn
bro it's 1 am- what do you think my parents will say??
Sneak out then. Meet you at 1:30.

Urghhhhh... Goddammit.
Goh held his pillow to my chest and thought, "Frick... Ash left, I guess I have to go now..."
"What if we get robbed?? Downtown at 1 am?"
"If I sneak out and don't tell anyone where I'm going... Where will the cops look for me when I get murdered!", he tends to worry a lot about things like this, so it wasn't a surprise he was worried now.
"Ughh... Well, I can't let Ash wander out downtown at night anyways, he has a higher chance of getting killed than me. So I guess I'll go...", Goh reluctantly mumbled to himself.
