Hospital Ring
"What the fucking fuck?!!!" Daniel shouted furiously
His uniform is now full of cookie mixture,and since it was a cookie mixture, take note that there was already some chocolate chips in there,may konting natapon pa sa mukha niya.
He looks like a mess! Well we all are actually. May pumasok na canteen chief at nagulat sa aming mga unipormeng punong-puno ng cookie mixture.
"What on earth? Pinapunta ko kayo dito para matulungan ako diba? What is this?" he said at kinuha ang bowl mula sa kamay ni Danaya-charot kinuhaniiya ang bowl mula kay Fijie at saka humarap kay Daniel
"I thought may kakausapin kalang sa isa sakanila? Why did you join their mess?" he said saka naglakad papunta sa lababo at nilagay doon ang bowl
He fixed himself saka siya humarap ulit sa amin.
"I will give you a moment to clean this mess,make sure to hand me a two dish that you made,or else bagsak kayo sa cooking class ko" huh??
Wait what??
"C-chief? Hindi po ako na assign ngayo--"
"You also joined them Miss Abejar,don't you think you should take consequences to your actions?" napanguso ako saka nag sorry sakanya
Totoo Rin,nakisali pa kasi ako sa maliit na away ng dalawa eh! Tiningnan ko ang dalawang parang kuting na kinuhanan ng pagkain.
I sighed saka lumapit sa mga kaibigan,pero agad din akong napatigil ng bigla nalang silang umatras ng humakbang ako papalapit. Napkunot ang noo at humakbang ng dalawang beses kaya ay humakbang din silang dalawa ng paatras. What the hell?
"Tangek! Bat kayo lumalayo? Nako kayong dalawa talaga pipingutin ko kayo!" I hissed pero nakatingin na sila ngayon sa likod ko
I gasped when a heavy arm dropped around my shoulder,tiniginan ko ang nagpangahas na pabigatin ang aking sarili.
"Daniel" I said seriously that him him look at me
Agad niyang binawi ang kanyang braso saka ito tinaas sa ere na parang susuko na siya.
"What are you doing in here?" I asked at nagawa pang ilagay ang mga kamay sa aking bewang
"I was also about to ask you that question,cousin." napalingon ako sa likod ni Daniel kunga saan, nakatayo doon si Drake
Well wow he looks so hot right now. His back was leaning in the wall while his broad arms were crossed in his front. His thick eyebrows were in a grim line,making it so hot to look at.
I gulped when he landed his eyes on me,ang kaninang maitim na ekspresyon ay agad napalitan ng lambot at takot. Hmm? Takot siya sakin? I then raised my right brows.
He gulped at iniwas agad ang tingin mula sa akin,ibinalik niya ang tingin kay Daniel na ngayon ay nakatingin pala sakin. I rolled my eyes saka tumalikod sakanila,I fixed my bag saka dere-deretsong lumabas sa kusina ng cafeteria.
Bigla akong napahinto ng maalalang nandon pa pala sa loob ang mga kaibigan ko. I slap my face pero syempre machina lang,masakit kaya!
Bahala na nga sila jan,pake ko sakanila don na sila mag bogbogan. I heard my phone ringing kaya kinapa ko iyon sa aking bulsa pero wala don,it was still ringing kaya ng madinig na nagmumula ito sa bag ko ay agad ko itong sinipat,my bag was hanging on my right shoulder while I was looking at my phone.
Lumapit ako sa malapit na bench saka pinatong ang aking kanang paa at ipinatong doon ang bag para mas mahalughog ito.
My bag was very messy kaya mas lalong naging mahirap sa akin ang paghahanap. Damn I knew I should have bought little bags for different things. My god! Nakita ko na yon sa shopee eh! Hindi ko pa pala yun na add to cart!
There! I found it! dali-dali ko itong sinagot at hindi pa magawang silipin kung sino ang tumawag anak ng!
"Yes hello?" I answer saka sonata ang bag ko
"Is this miss Ravenielle Santiago?" I heard the female voice from the other line,she was using my mother's surname
"Yes,speaking" I said
"Ma'am this is Guilares Hospital,can you come here po? Your mother Mrs. Reynielle Santiago got into a car accident,kasalukuyan po siyang NASA Emergency Room ngayon" I gasped at what I heard
Si mama?! What happened!
"A-ahm y-yes punta napo ako dyan,thank you po" I quickly ended the call saka tinawaga si papa
"Yes darling you ca-" I quickly cut him off
"Pa! Si mama nasa hospital! She got into a car accident pa please! Puntahan matin siya!" I said and without even knowing,my tears dropped
"What?! Fuck! I'm gonna get you there ok? Sabay na tayo" he said and ended the call
I cried while running to the gates,this is not what I supposed to feel! Dapat Galit ako sakanya! Dapat kinamumuhian ko siya! Dahil saknaya nangyari ang mga pangayayaring IYON sa buhay ko! It was all her fault!
Sa bilis kong tumakbo halos isang minuto ko lang tinakbo ang campus papalabas. I put my hands to my knees to catch my breath.
"Ma'am Raven? May klase pa po kayo mamaya!" I heard manong Edgar shouted pero hindi ako nakinig at lumabas sa gates
May naka salubong pa akong mga kaklase ko na galing sa isawan pero hindi ko na sila napagtuunan ng pansin.
"Raven! Where are you going?!" I stopped from my tracks when I heard Drake
Agad ko itong tiningnan and he was shock to see me crying,he was about to reach my hand pero may pumrenong motorbike sa tapat ko.
"Get on" he was wearing a black leather jacket and a black helmet while he was reaching out his other helmet for me
"Daniel" I said
"Come on,get on. I'll take you to her" nagulat ako sa sinabi Niya
He knew? Who told him?
Tinanggap ko ang helmet saka sumakay sa kanyang motorbike,I even forgot Drake's presence from our back,but I knew he was glaring at us.
But I couldn't care less,I have to go to my mother first.
Daniel then drove me to the hospital, he really knew where I was going huh?
The moment my feet touches the hospital ground,I could feel my heart racing. No! I've been here before! I knew this feeling,this dark feeling...this is trouble.
Daniel held my elbow guiding me to go to the front desk,pero hindi ko magawang mabuka ang aking mga bibig,I feel so heavy.
"Miss, Mrs. Reynielle Santiago" he was just saying it calmly
"She's still in the operating room sir,ma'am. You can wait in the waiting area" the nurse said
I calm myself down saka sumabay sa paglalakad kay Daniel,he was still holding my elbow softly. Pumunta kami sa waiting area at pinaupo niya ako sa isa sa mga upuan. I then brush my palms to my face. God this is frustrating!
I closed my eyes and silently prayed, God please don't do this to me again,you already took my sister away....please just please ,not her.
I heard heavy footsteps coming our way but I was too tired to even look at it.
"Is she ok?" I heard my father asked Daniel
"I would say no Tito,she was so frustrated at what happened" agad Kong sinalubong ng yakap ang aking ama
"No,she wouldn't leave me right? Pa hindi ako iiwan ni mama diba? Hindi pa siya nakakahingi ng tawad sa atin pa" I said while crying out so loudly
He brush his palms through my back and kissed my temple.
"No,she wouldn't leave Raven,she can't" he said consoling me
