"Shane look." Carl exclaims with an ecstatic smile. "dad said I could carry it and mom said as long as I was-"
"keep it down. We're looking for Sophia." Shane rudely cut off the little boy causing him to slightly frown as he hears the man next to him sound agitated. "You need to focus on the task" Shane says turning away from the boy.
Cameron heard the conversation and felt a frown grow on her face as anger rumbled in her chest how Shane broke the little boy's sprit as she quickly pulls Carl to her side for comfort.
"Got to keep up Carl" Cameron smiled at Carl as he looks down at his hands. "You okay sweety?" Cameron asked feeling a slight sadness radiating off the boy.
"I think Shane's mad at me.., did I do something wrong?" Carl said looking up at Cameron as she frowns running a hand through her hair.
"No sweetheart, I promise you didn't. Shane just had his underwear stuck up his butt this morning" Cameron says with a smirk as she nudges the young boy playfully causing him to giggle.
As Cameron and Carl make their way to the front of the group they see Rick motion them to stop and get quiet and lower themselves.
Cameron motions Carl to stay in his spot as she quietly moves closure to her brother.
"She could be in there" Shane suggested as they see a tent. "There could be a whole lotta things in there" Daryl says in return, as he slowly brings up his crossbow as they begin to move forward.
Rick puts a hand up to tell the group to stay in their spot as him, Cameron and Daryl move towards the tent quietly and slowly.
Daryl turns towards the two behind him and motions his hand before taking out his knife and moving slowly forward to the entrance of the tent.
Cameron watches carefully as she fiddles with her kunai in her hand.
Daryl continues to look around the tent but turns to Rick and Cameron and shrugs his shoulders. "Carol." Rick ushers Carol over to them quietly.
Cameron puts her hand out to the others to tell them to move with them silently behind Rick and Carol.
"Call out softly. If she's in there your voice is the first thing she should hear" Rick says softly to Carol as the air around ms them tenses up.
"Sofia, sweetie. Are you in there?" Carol calls out. Cameron doesn't notice Carl go to her side until she feels his hand grasp hers causing her to look down at the boy's eager face.
