Maddy wasn't doing well, the love she got from Nate slowly turned into the opposite. First he would whisper sweet things into her ear and now she's screaming at her how insane she is. Maddy didn't knew what she did wrong, maybe she didn't show him enough love? But how would she know if her parents never showed her how to do it, instead her father is getting drunk never leaving the couch and her mother is shaming on Maddy getting her stress out of her cause her husband wouldn't do shit in the house or for them. It hurts Maddy seeing her parents like this, not like they were different earlier but now the whole feeling in the house is anxious and not a tiniest bit of love is showing. Maddy tries her best to show Nate love but it's hard, hard cause she never saw how to do it, never had any example. Maybe she just had to make it sexual? Or take control? Or let the boy take control like the most boys want in this generation. Owning someone. Maddy always thinks that Nate loves her but what's really love? How can she really know that this isn't some stupid act to just " own " her body. It was not like Maddy didn't feel uncomfortable with her body and Nate but the relaxing feelings she had when she was with Cassie that night felt so much better, knowing she could be herself no matter what happened Cassie wouldn't blame her. But Cassie isn't Nate. Cassie is het best friend and Nate her boyfriend two very different things but the one who should show love is switched with the one who just should show the friend attention. She felt love from Cassie but Maddy didn't know what kind of love, she always created the answer herself saying it's just being a good friend. But Cassie held her mind hidden from Maddy, hiding cause her love would maybe destroy their friendship. And not in a good way.

" why wouldn't you just tell me your feelings? Why are you hiding something from me? I'm your girlfriend but if there's something that I'm doing wrong you can just tell me instead of making me feel this way! " Maddy yells back at Nate.

" maybe you should stick your nose in your own business! Just cause you're my girlfriend doesn't mean that I have to tell you everything! Not everything is god dammit about you Maddy get that inside your fucking head! " Nate screams back. This wasn't true love, Maddy did love Nate but Nate just loved the attention not Maddy.

" I just wanted to know if I did something wrong or not? Cause first your all over me telling me sweet things and the next second your getting anxious after seeing me watching your phone and then screaming at me when I confront you about it! ".

When Nate got a text while driving, Maddy sitting next to him he quickly removed his phone making a fast excuse saying it's from his dad. Which was a lie. Nate was texting with Jules making Jules Vaugn believe that she is talking with some Tyler and that he has very much interest in her, sending her sweet texts and dirty ones getting the same things back. All behind Maddy's back.

After that one notification there were more noises coming from his phone which Maddy found suspicious. But just like always he keeps his secrets hidden and tells her nothing but screaming about how annoying she is.

" SEE! This is exactly what I'm talking about, your trying to manipulate me into trying to make me feel bad when I only got texts from my dad, this shows exactly how much you trust me you know that right? Always having to know what's happening to me not trusting me. That's exactly what I mean ".

And Maddy want going to lie but that hurts, never did his words hurt her that much that she's still upset about it the next day, tears streaming down her rosy cheeks and feeling insecure about everything. He hurts her so much but she still loves him. That was something sad about their relationship, he could kill everyone close to her and yet she will forgive him sooner or later. " it wasn't the violence that scared her, it was that she knew no matter what he did she still loves him ".

She needed to take her kind of off things and drugs wasn't the answer this time. She really needed to talk about it or just express it. So she decided to go to Cassie. She knew Cassie would be always there for her and no words needed to be spoken to comfort each other, only touch was already enough.

She grabbed her car keys and speeded off to Cassie her house. And when she saw the Howard's house she felt safe and loved, it was a sort of comfort place for her always tucking the end of her soft plump lips high making her teeth appear with a soft smile. Fighting the urge to just stare at her house forever or go inside wasn't a option when she could already spotting Cassie through a window, getting even more comfort of seeing her best friend. Knocking on the door twice preparing how to explain the situation to Cassie. But her thoughts got interrupted by Lexi opening the door, Lexi Howard was the sixteen year old Howard sister, she wasn't that much part of the friend group but she was always there for everyone including Maddy so when she saw the black haired girl she immediately pulled her into a hug. Her soft brown waves falling on Maddy's shoulder inhaling the sent of the warming house felt good. And it didn't take any longer for Cassie to appear and be the next one who pulled Maddy into a hug. " oh hi Mads, what are you doing here? Do you need to stay the night? I can put a extra bed from the basement real quick if you do! " she speaks to Maddy with love in her tone. " thank you but I just wanna talk about something that happens if that's okay with you? " she asks with concern in her voice. "Of course come upstairs " Cassie answers with her regular sweet smile.

" stop it, it's not you who's doing something wrong it's him! He's being all weird sudden from receiving multiple texts from someone making a excuse for it saying it's his dad. You do everything for him and tell him everything he wants to know so he should do the same for you! You're an amazing girlfriend that anyone could ever wish for! ". Which was true cause Cassie was one of them.

" I don't know, maybe I'm not giving him enough love? Or maybe even pleasure! He's never like this but all of sudden when we're in his bedroom he's acting all crazy " Maddy answers still insecure about her not being good enough for Nate.

" no stop look at me " and Cassie grabs Maddy both of her cheeks with her hand and looks her right into her eyes. Maddy feels something in het stomach but she can't really explain what it is and just ignores it staring back at her best friend. " you, Maddy Perez, is the most sweetest, caring, loving, gorgeous women. And if anyone tells you anything different then they are the problem, not you keep that inside your head " she speaks with such a gentle comforting voice which makes Maddy smile slightly, Cassie always knows how to make her feel better. " thank you, honestly just fuck him ". " see! You're already learning! " and they both chuckle. " exactly I wanna stay the night if that isn't that much of a bother? " Maddy asks. " you're always welcome here love " she answers back. Both girls feeling something grow inside of them, butterflies but that's something only Cassie realizes.
