"Okuyasu!? What happened!?" Yumiko exclaimed, attempting to get off the couch.

"I found him on my way out of Tonio's," Okuyasu panted, helping Josuke into the house and helping him sit on the couch.

"Oh my god, ok I'm going to go get the first aid kit," Yumiko stammered, "Okuyasu, if he needs water or anything like that, you know where to find the cups."

Yumiko hurried up the stairs and grabbed a face cloth, soaking it in warm water and grabbing the first aid kit, bringing them back downstairs, Josuke sitting hunched over on the couch.

"Josuke, sit up," Yumiko instructed, setting the kit and face cloth on the coffee table, helping Josuke sit up, unbuttoning his uniform shirt and taking it off, setting it to the side and grabbing the face cloth and cleaning off his wounds.

"Josuke, what happened?" Yumiko asked, grabbing bandages and wrapping up the wounds.

"I...... I don't think we're safe...." Josuke said, out of breath.

"What do you mean? Of course we're safe, just some sick jackass decided to do this to you," Yumiko grumbled.

"No, he... he told me.... He's trying to take Johiro...."

"Why would he do that? You're the only one of the parents who has a stand. Johiro is pretty much powerless, so there's no reason for someone to take him for power," Yumiko replied.

"The Joestars...... I'm a Joestar, Yumiko. It's got to be some sort of revenge. A Brando or something is trying to take him...... possibly for the worst reason, to try and end the bloodline....... And with you being a Kakyoin, that makes Johiro an even bigger target because of your brother..... Johiro is in danger."

Yumiko stopped her bandaging, looking up at Josuke.

"What role does my brother play in this? Who're the Brandos? What's this all about Josuke?" Yumiko asked.

"Damnit. If I tell you, you have to swear never to tell anybody. It's confidential..."

"I promise. I just need to know why this is happening."

"Alright. When your brother went missing, he went on a trip to Egypt to save Jotaro's mother alongside Avdol, Mr. Joestar, and Polnareff. He almost died. Before then he was under control by a man named Dio Brando. His only goal was to wipe out my family bloodline," Josuke explained, "I think a henchman or possibly even a son was who attacked me.... Because I almost died. I had to use Crazy Diamond once he thought he had actually killed me. It was so much worse than what you see now. I know it sounds unbelievable but I'm telling the truth, you have to believe me Yumiko," Josuke pleaded.

"I believe you Josuke. My brother has scars he can't explain and whenever I ask him about them, he says it's confidential. I believe everything you say. Did you get any DNA, like a hair with the follicle still attached or blood? Skin even?" Yumiko questioned.

"No blood, but I grabbed a bit of his hair, I think it's in my shirt pocket," Josuke explained.

"Ok, stay here, we need to get that DNA for Cerise to use as a tracker," Yumiko said, rushing to the kitchen where Okuyasu was shuffling around, attempting to find something.

—-------------------------------------------------------

Cerise gagged as Ghost Town pulled the strands of hair into its mouth, "Alright, I think I got something..... He's living at the edge of Morioh, just outside of town. But he's unstable. Not physically though. His name is Yori Brando."

"F*ck..." Kakyoin muttered under his breath.

"Noriaki! Les enfants!" (the children!) Cerise shouted at Kakyoin.

"I'm sorry mon amour, Brando just isn't a nice word to hear."

"I know, just don't give Sakura any ideas, she's already rambunctious enough," Cerise replied with a soft giggle, "So, what are we going to do about this Brando?"

"I don't want to risk anymore stress for Yumiko, last night's scare was bad enough. We should wait until Johiro is born before taking action," Josuke insisted.

"Josuke, I'll be fine, I can handle things," Yumiko protested.

"No, Josuke's right," Cerise spoke up, "Stress is bad for Johiro. We all want a healthy and safe baby. But for now, a healthy one is most important."

"I agree, we'll wait until after you give birth, but I'll call in Jotaro and we'll keep an eye on Yori so that he doesn't flee," Kakyoin explained, "everything will be fine. As long as we keep you two and Johiro safe, everything will be ok."

Yumiko sighed, hesitantly nodding.

"But I have a question."

"Yeah?" Josuke asked.

"What do we do if he tries to get to the hospital? There's so many people, we could lose him in the crowd and he could easily steal Johiro."

"Well, the only real way that could happen is if he dressed up as a nurse. But that's still a possibility....." Kakyoin said, his voice turning to a mumble.

"I may have a solution, though it's probably not as desirable for Yumiko since Johiro is her first," Cerise began, "But why not a home birth? There's less people around, it's inside the comfort of your own home, and it would be more difficult for Yori to easily get access to Johiro. We can even keep Noriaki and Jotaro to stand guard at the doors," Cerise suggested.

"It's not a bad idea, we'd just need a midwife...." Josuke added.

"My mom's a midwife," Yumiko announced, "Back in Brazil and still in Japan, she's a licensed midwife and everything! I'm sure she'd be honored."

"Didn't your mom have a few objections to this baby?" Josuke asked.

"She did, but now she's overjoyed, it's quite sweet actually. I can call her and see if she'd agree?"

"I think it's a good idea, I'm sure mom wouldn't mind and it might be more comforting to have someone who knows what you're going through to be there with you," Kakyoin said.

"Alright, then it's settled. For his safety, Johiro will be a home birth."
