Y/n slammed sovieshu's office doors close and walked away.

'My blood is boiling, I'm gonna explode! Ugh! I blame father for choosing sovieshu as the next emperor.'

Y/n stretched her arms up and hit something. "..!"

"My princess that hurts." Y/n heard ergi's voice. "Claude?! Oh dear, That must've hurt real bad." Y/n touched his nose. "Why the nose." Ergi whined.  "I'm sorry, Let's fix that to the imperial infirmary." Y/n held ergi's hand and went to the infirmary.

Ergi sat on the infirmary bed as y/n treated his nose. "Ahhh, I almost ruined my handsome man's nose."

Ergi touched his nose. "I think it's kind of alright now."

"Why are you suddenly silent?" Ergi asked y/n, y/n sighed with a slight smile. "Your doing a good job on fooling rashta." Ergi nodded with a sigh. "I am, And she's a headache. She's so clueless. The fact that I agreed to be her concubine."

"She trusts you very well, Especially when you lended her money." Y/n said. "The empress and my brother are going to divorce any day soon.",

"And heinrey shall arrive before everything in the court ends."

"The problem is, Sovieshu doesn't actually want to let go of the empress, He'll order guards to guard her. It would be hard to let navier escape and go to the western kingdom." Y/n said. "I'm sure we can sort things out." Ergi said. "After all of this, We'll finally get some more time together." Ergi pulled y/n and embraced her. "...Yes, We will." Y/n smiled and hugged back.

"Ahh, My baby boy has grown up. But sadly, He became a womanizer." Y/n rolled her eyes with a smile.

"I was just six years old that time when I met you, You know I carry you around~ and I sometimes even volunteer to wash you up." Y/n grinned. "Well, I am embarrassed." Ergi laughed.

"Hey, Do you remember that time when you gave me a rose?" Y/n asked. "Of course, I was only 11 years old around that time.", Ergi smirked. "And you were 16 years old."

"The look on your face when I gave you a rose, I wouldn't even forget about it, You smiled at me and even kissed me on the cheek. And called me a sly fox."

Y/n laughed. "Well you are a sly fox, Ergi."

Suddenly the infirmary doors open wide. "Your high--"

"Ness... Erm.."  Laratte stopped talking as she saw the princess hugging duke ergi. "Oh uh- apologies for the interruption, Your highness." Laratte apologized to the couple.

"It's alright, Laratte, Continue on what you were about to say." Y/n stood up and ergi looked at y/n's lady-in-waiting curious on what the girl is going to say. "Someone sent a demand letter to you."

"A demand letter? From whom?" Y/n asked laratte. "It is anonymous, Your highness so I do not know, But it was from the western side." Laratte said. "This is the second time I've received a letter with an anonymous sender." Y/n said.

"Who could this person sending you letters be?" Ergi asked himself. "I do not know, But something feels very off." Y/n said. "I'll read the demand letter later, You may go now." Y/n sighed. "Yes, Your highness." Laratte bowed and left the infirmary room.

"Well that killed the mood." Ergi said. "It did."

[ Western Kingdom, McKenna's POV ]

I sighed as I was done organizing the paperwork's from my office, I went to my room and accidentally tripped on the study table's foot I grabbed the shelf just to not fall down at the floor but the shelf went loose and I fell. "Aghh."

A pile of things fell on me, And I saw the ring that her highness gave me.

"McKenna!" Y/n Cheered As She Ran Towards me.

"Your Highness, Slow Down!" I reminded.

Y/n Then Hugged me. "You don't need to worry that much, You cute blue haired boy."

I Sighed At The Nickname And Smiled. "So, Your Highness, Why Did You Called For Me?"

Y/n then let go Off me. "Oh right, About that let's make A Promise." Y/n smiled widely.

I flinched. "And what kind Of Promise is that? Your highness."

"I know this is sudden but, I Overheard my father made A Promise to my mother, And lastly I heard something about getting Married. So, Straight to the Point, Let's get married when we grow up!" Y/n Cheered.

I flinched. "O-oh, Alright I Promise." I Stuttered.

"It's Now A Promise Then!" Y/n cheered and jumped up and down.

"Here take this, This will be the remembrance of our promise." Y/n gave me a ring and I took it.

I smiled slightly remembering that memory all of a sudden. "But... I guess you have forgotten about it ever since that incident..."

My eyes got teary and I wiped it off immediately and fixed the mess I made.

After fixing the mess I laid down and closed my eyes. "I wonder what could've happened if she didn't fell on the staircase."

[ Eastern empire, West palace, Y/n's Quarters, Y/n's POV ]

Their demanding me for stealing the title of duchess???!

They have no rights to do this.

I have mother's will, And it clearly said that it's mine.

So how could they demand me?

Who's this anonymous person?

Are they trying to my position down?

I putted the letter inside the drawer beside my bed, I sighed and laid down. "Whoever you are, I bet you'll make my life in a mess."

[ ???'s POV ]

"Have you delivered the letter to the eastern empire?" I asked. "Yes, I did my lady, It was successfully delivered to the crown princess of the east."

"Good."

"Good job." I patted my butler's back. "Next up is to show up on court." I said.
