I tried to look at the boy with the honey eyes but they dragged him away. I don't know why but suddenly I feel really really angry. Like I was in rage. How could they do that? How could they decide what we were supposed to do? WHO are they? The questions are running trough my mind when I notice that number 64 was squeezing my arm. "Are you there?" I look at her in shock. Why am I shocked? I don't know. I nod quickly and then try to get a look on Darcel. He is the one that gives orders in here. He told the guards to drag him away. "Why did they do that?" Number 64 knows what I mean. She sights and then shrugs. "He behaved wrong." I know that he behaved wrong. But since when do other people decide what is wrong and what is right? Is it right to keep us locked up like prisoners? I don't think so. "Where are they taking him?" She looks at me and her green eyes lock with mine. "I don't know. But", she begins to whisper. "I can find out." I breathe in and let her words sink in for a moment. "Can you?" She nods and then looks around like someone could hear what we are talking about. "This is going to hurt." My eyes widen and I try to say something but she has already started. I have never ever seen something so...magical. So extraordinarily beautiful. This is the first time I see someone use a power. Her green eyes begin to glow brighter and brighter and then her hair floats like she is under water. A second later it's over and the electricity rushes trough her body. She screams and her eyes stop glowing. I grab her arms and pull her up. All the other patients are staring at her and the they begin to whisper. "Did she use her power?", "What did she do?", "Who are those girls?" I try to ignore them and hold her tightly. Then the crowd turns silent and steps aside. It's Darcel. I get angry. "What are you trying to do?" Number 64 looks at him and then smiles still weak. "Nothing sir." He grunts and then he grabs his weapon. "Follow me." Our eyes meet and there it is. A moment, only a small second where he allows himself to feel something. Pain. I see pain. Then his eyes turn hard and unyielding again. "Come on." He turns around and then something changes inside of me. Thats wrong. Everything is wrong. He can't do that. I push number 64 behind my back and raise my head. "No." He turns around. Slowly. Very very slowly. "What did you say?" I swallow hard but my face is steady. " I said NO. Leave her alone. Now." Number 64 is shaking behind me, grabbing my hand. "What are you doing?", she whispers. What am I doing? I have absolutely no idea. "Please" I say. "Just leave us alone. We will behave. I promise." His beautiful eyes widen and then he finally turns around. He left.
I laugh in shock and then look at number 64 again. I try to speak but she drags me into a hug. I don't know what to say. I haven't had a hug for so long. "Thank you so much." I shake my head and then force her to look at me again. "I am the one to thank you." And I totally mean that. We hug again and then I hear her whisper against my ear. "I know where they are taking him. And it's bad. Really bad." First I am in complete shock but then I clench my hands into fists. I am finally going to do something.
