Via. He called me Via once before and I don't know why but I feel a connection to this name. Maybe it is indeed mine, I think. But why would he know my name? Why would we know eachother? I can't help but stare at him. Long. I feel no need to blink because every blink feels like a waste of time. Time I could use to look at him. „You've found me." His voice sends thousands of shivers through my body and I automatically nod. To stunned to speak. I want to ask so many questions. How do you know me? Have we met before? Who are you? Where are you coming from? But the words seem to have disappeared. „What are we going to do now?" he asks and my eyes flash open. I have not thought this trough. Not. A. Single. Time.
Where would we go? Where would we hide?
I have absolutely no idea.
I notice that someone grabs my wrist and then we're running. My feet luckily seem to remember the motion as we rush trough building two.
And then we are out of it. Standing in the glass tunnel that connects both buildings. I stare at James, Julia and the boy. „And now?" James shouts. „I don't know." Julia looks at me in disbelief. „You don't know? Girl that's not really helpful." I dragged them into helping me. I was the one with the bad idea so I turn around and look at them. „You guys leave." I say. My voice steadier than I thought it could sound. „But-" James tries to speak.
„Leave!"
They give me a quick nod and then they head out. Back to building one. And suddenly I am alone with him.
„Don't tell me you haven't thought this trough." I give him a nervous smile. „Okay. I won't say it." He looks at me in disbelief and laughs. „Thats so unlike you." I turn my head. Heat rushes trough my body and I can't move. „What?" My voice, my head, my bones are about to break. „Via. It's me. Oliver." My thoughts are about to explode. „You don't...remember me, right?" I don't know why but my body reacts to his question and I shake my head.
I forgot something. Something important.
My life.
