Chapter 30: The trial

The family sat in the front row where they had a perfect view of the angry muggles. Harry felt their piercing eyes on him as he sat down on Draco's lap.

"Hello everyone, Today we are discussing the muggle relatives of Harry Potter who were recently accused of physically,mentally, and sexually abusing Harry Potter"

The judge continued to speak

"First we will hear the Dursley's side of the story, Vernon Dursley is it? You may state your case"

The man stood up and glared at Harry once more

"I have never hurt that boy. You have no evidence that I did. Me and my wonderful wife loved the boy as if he was our own"

Harry stood up from his chair and felt the anger rising in his chest

"Your a liar." He mumbled angrily, his fist clenched at his sides as he stared angrily at his uncle

"What was that mr.potter?"

"HES A LIAR!" Harry angrily shouted

everyone was shocked at the boys outburst, draco quickly grabbed Harry's wrist and pulled him back down into his seat

"Calm down" Draco gently rubbed Harry's back

"I have decided that we would like Harry Potter to come to the stand immediately"

His eyes widened in shock as he walked to the stand he felt eyes on him, he sat down in a large chair with a microphone in front of him

He took a deep breath and looked at his uncle and aunt, his eyes filled with angry tears

"Hello everyone, my name is Harry, Harry Potter. And those people were my family, and they hurt me badly"
His voice was shaky and his palms were sweaty as he tried to speak

Harry looked around the room when his eyes met with Draco's

"And they saved me!" Harry pointed to Fred and Draco causing everyone in the audience to gasp

Harry's eyes felt with tears as he continued to speak

"they hurt me! They beat me. They starved me! For years. I was only 4 when I was told I was nothing more then a worthless freak. I wasn't allowed to be a child. Because of them!" Harry angrily turned to his uncle

"You did this to me! You were supposed to love me, you were supposed to care about me, and you did this to me!"

His uncle angrily growled at him

"We did no such thing you lying little freak! All of you are disgusting freaks!"

Harry felt angry tears flow down his face as he tried to find the right words to say

"You are the real freaks. You raped me, beat me, you ruined my entire life. You deserve to rot in Azkaban"

Harry started to cry even harder, everyone in the room gasped and cried as Harry whimpered and spoke once more

"When I was 4 I was no longer allowed to take baths. When I was 5 I was severely beaten,When I was six years old I was told I was no longer allowed to eat because I was fat. When I was seven I was told I was no longer allowed to go to school because I was too thin. When I was 8 I was raped and forced into sexual into course with you. When I was 9 I was too scared, too thin, too fat, too dumb, to fight back, so I took the abuse, I took it in fear that one day if I did not obey I would loose my life to the hands of a monster, a monster also known as Vernon Dursley. And his wife, also known as the women who betrayed her dead sister, Petunia Evans Dursley"

He watched as his aunts eyes widen, and her lips started to quiver

Harry stood up from his chair and wipes the tears off his now light pink cheeks

"There is nothing left I have to say. Not you any of you." Harry snarled at his "family" and sat back down with his family, even if it wasn't by blood

"Im so sorry" His aunt petunia whispered to him as he walked past her

"Say that to lily" Harry growled as he walked past her

Draco pulled Harry into his lap and gently ran his hands through his soft hair

"it's ok baby, you did such a good job" Draco held Harry in his lap and gently rubbed his back, Harry cuddled into Draco's chest and held on tight

Draco knew Harry was stressed and hadn't said everything he had wanted to say but he didn't want to force him to go back up in front of everyone and tell them everything and anything, without realizing it draco had taken a pacifier out of his pocket and was holding it tightly in his hands

"Mine?" Harry asked as he saw the pacifier in Draco's grasp

Draco giggled and popped the pacifier into Harry's mouth

"Of course sweetheart, anything for you" he softly cooed

Around two hours later after everyone had taken their turns on the stand the judge had finally come to a decision

"everyone, seeing as todays case was obviously graphic, disgusting, and sad, I have decided as head of the ministry- to sentence Mr. and Mrs. Dursley  to Azkaban. for life" the judge announced

Harry's eyes filled with big blue tears, he couldn't believe what he had heard, after years of waiting, and wishing, and begging that someone would listen and someone would get rid of the horrible people who had ruined his entire life since the day his parents had died were finally given what they deserved

Harry grabbed onto Draco's shirt and started to cry, draco immediately knew something was wrong and tried to calm him down but nothing worked, the poor boy was inconsolable as he cried

"baby boy calm down" Lucius took Harry out of Draco's arms and gently rubbed his back

Harry cried even harder when Lucius moved him away from Draco

"want dwaco" Harry demanded, causing Lucius to giggle at the small boy in his arms

"Want dwaco!!" Harry demanded yet again with a small pout on his lips but this time Lucius have in and handed him back to Draco

Draco took Harry in his arms and gently cuddled him

"Don't worry baby, I got you" Draco smiled warmly as he held Harry in his arms

"Let's go home"

the small family left the court room and returned to their happy home, when they arrived home Draco took the boy in his lap to his room and put him in his crib

"someday you'll know how much I love you" Draco whispered as stared down at the now sleeping boy
