The blonde-haired teenager, Calista, was craving to go to the beach and watch the waves and sunset."Mom?" She called. "Is it alright if I go to the beach?"
She sighed, "Again? Honey, don't you have homework?" she questioned.
"Yeah, it's finished. Can I go please?" she pleaded, her hands in a praying position with her phone in between.
"I can't let you go alone again.." she looked at her daughter with worrisome eyes.
Calista rolled her eyes, "Mom, don't."
"Fine." she stands up from the sofa and lightly pushes her daughter's head to her chest, although Cali was clearly taller than her.
"Why don't you bring your siblings?" there she goes again.
"I don't want to deal with their shi-" she cut herself off, not wanting a scolding, "their stuff right now."
She continued to explain, "Clay has nothing better to talk about but his stupid Minecraft career. And Sam totally hates me."
The mother just shook her head, already heard this a million times. She then reluctantly agrees to her middle child's wishes and bids farewell.
Cali waves goodbye and opens the front door. But instead of going out immediately she was blocked by a tall figure with the same blonde hair she has.
"Hi, Cali! Great seeing you." he greeted her with his usual goofy smile. I guess he's visiting.
He moved a little to his left side for me to see another blondie, just a few inches smaller than me. "Hey."
Cali nodded awkwardly and gave a quick farewell to them, making her way to the quiet streets of her town in Orlando, Florida.

Cali was walking peacefully on the sidewalks with her AirPods in, playing her 'walk' playlist.
While humming into the sweet tune of a song playing, someone from behind her called.
She looked behind her to see the blonde she met just a few minutes ago. Why can't I have a break?
The sky has gone dark now. His colorful choice of clothes was quite the attention-getter. An 'iconic' neon green, Dream hoodie, and white sweatpants.
"Calista." he breathed out, "God, you're fast." he laughed, still panting. Did he follow me?
"Woah~ I coincidentally found you walking alone at this late hour!" he lied. In the most obvious way too.
"You look weird."
He laughed nervously, "Yeah. I shouldn't have worn this hoodie. Probably would blow my cover."
"No one knows your face, you're fine."
Awkward silence.
"So.. can I join-" Before he could finish, she cut him off with a simple yet crushing "No."
"Please? I'll buy you ice cream." How did he know she can be bribed with that?
"Fine, but you'll leave me alone on the beach. At least a few feet away from me." she was replied with a 'Gotcha!'
"It was like that when I was six so.." she mumbled.
"That was years ago and wasn't on purpose." he softly replied. It seems that he was still guilty about it.
"Whatever, let's go."
┌(・。・)┘♪
Calista was sitting down peacefully on the dry sand, her playlist still on shuffle.
She looks up and admires the view of the tiny stars above, taking in their beauty.
She checks my phone for the time, it's now 5:56 pm. Clay was buying ice cream at the near ice cream shop.
"Should I go home now.." she mutters to herself, but someone heard it loud and clear.
"Nah, stay here with me." a sweet voice offered.
She turns her head to the sound and saw a girl a little farther from her spot. Looks like she was also admiring the stars and waves.
The girl looked upset, her makeup smudged from crying.
She had straight, silky, ginger hair with the most majestic hazel eyes. She was wearing a simple purple tank top with black leggings and white sneakers.
Her hair was in a half-up and half-down style, her face can be seen clearly with her ginger hair framing her face shape perfectly.
It was like she saw her before, maybe at school.
"I didn't know you hang here, Calista." she turns to me, her gleaming eyes staring deeply at mine.
She saw it now, she was Fahlynne, her school's total royalty.
She's the daughter of the principal and she was crazy rich.
"Fahlynne Yearwood?" She asked for confirmation.
"Yep." she sighed.
Cali tilted her head at the girl, no one has ever seen her cry. At least from what she knew.
She was always optimistic, but now Cali only sees a hurt and broken figure, sulking over something she can't put her finger on. What could possibly sadden the queen of Yearwood High?
Hesitantly, she asks her, "What's wrong?"
"I should be asking you that, you seem gloomy." she snickers sadly.
Cali chuckles, "Your makeup's smudged, I think you're gloomier." She pointed out.
"Oh. Sorry." she quietly apologizes, wiping her face with her hands while laughing.
"So what is wrong?" she repeated.
"I'm just so stupid." she started, "I'm failing my classes and my mom thinks it's because I'm a flirt!"
"But I'm trying, I swear!" she cries.
Calista feels sympathy for the girl in front of her. "You know... your mom's a, uh, bitch." she stammered.
Fahlynne laughs at that and agrees wholeheartedly.
"And in my opinion, you're not a flirt. You just have a lot of admirers who want attention. You're like really pretty." Cali blushes and goes quiet after her last sentence.
"Thanks, Calista."
She suddenly hugs me tight while we were sitting down, she could feel tears flowing down her sweater though she couldn't care less.
"Thanks a lot.." she whispers while snuggling closer to my neck. Is she not gay?
"For this, you are officially my friend!" she pulls away from the hug and looks at me with the most thankful look I've ever seen since I've only seen it a few times.
"Cool."
