what you don't know while you were happily chatting with xiao and venti was that hu tao, lumine, aether and shenhe are hiding behind the bushes spying on you guys!
earlier...
"aiya that girl is growing up!" hu tao exclaims with a smile after you dashed away
" hu tao, you guys are the same age " lumine jumped in with her 5 sticks of chicken-mushroom skewers and aether with his sweet madame.
" growing up mentally! oh and there you guys are! Have you seen shenhe?" Hu tao beams
"I'm here. But dont we need to-" shenhe walked over and place her Dragon beard noodles down.
"AIGHT EVERYONES HERE!! LEAVE YOUR FOOD LET'S GOO" hu tao exclaims as she dragged lumine, aether and shenhe with her to where you and xiao were. (she had a good guess >:D)
" quick quick , in the bush guys !! " hu tao whispers and they all huddled together in a bush while you and xiao were talking.
present..
" hey! was xiao staring at y/n just now?!? " hu tao tried to stay as silent as possible while not drawing attention to the sus bush.
" they are in love .. you cant tell me twice! " lumine said
" sis they met in person today.. " aether spoke up
" love at first sight? " shenhe added
just then, right when they were bickering in the bush someone came up to you, venti and xiao
" senpai! Come with me!!" appears to be the fangirls. The worst scenario possible
" Amelia, im eating with someone here. " xiao said as he glared at this so called Amelia
" what? HER? Ditch her senpai, she isn't even pretty or rich! You can go with me instead i-" just as she was ranting about nonsense, you spoke up :
" Okay bitch, stop calling him 'senpai' first of all, it's dumb and give yourself that 'uwu' anime girl vision. And second of all, before calling me ugly please take a good look at your fake looking barbie ass. Also Im betting you don't even know what 'senpai' means "
" WOO-!! " venti yelled
silence . . .
"ahem, anyway we all don't want you here please go away" you added as you started to shove her away but then she slapped your hand away
" SHUT UP!! I BET YOU ARE JUST HERE BECAUSE YOU ONLY LIKE XIAO FOR HIS MONEY AND LOOKS YOU MISTAKE " as she raised her hand up about to hit your face and you closed your eyes for the pain to come.

yet it never did. You opened your eye's to see xiao's back in front of you as you peek from behind to see that xiao has blocked the attack and grabbed amelia's wrist and quickly let go of it.
you looked behind you to see.. shenhe being held back by lumine and aether from kicking amelia's ass and hu tao.. standing right behind amelia
"aiya that wasn't nice of you!" she said while smirking almost till her face can't handle it, but then her face darken all the sudden "You dare use you filthy ass hand to hit my best friend? There will be consequences darling." she continued
Meanwhile, venti was standing behind you also looking scared as fuck
" hu tao just leave her be.." xiao said as his gaze turn to amelia " i'll say this once so you better hear it loud and clear amelia, FUCK. OFF "
" YOU- YOU IM GONNA TAKE MY REVENGE ON YOU -!!" she cried as she ran away though you knew that wasn't the end of her, and there might just be more but you at least made efforts and befriended your first crush? I don't know however these wattpad stories turn out i guess
you could hear running towards you as you see shenhe run in full speed and hugged you like a loving mother seeing there child(e) hurt.
"are you okay ? Hurt anywhere? Any scrapes?" as she use her hands to cupped your cheeks frantically looking everywhere
"I- im fine shenheee" you groaned as you try to release yourself from shenhe's powerful grasp
"oh that girl is so dead" was the only thing shenhe said before running off and aether running after her
"y/n! Are you feeling okay?" Lumine asks with a concerned face
"I'm fine lumi don't worry, rather i think you should worry about a crime shenhe might do"
"ah right!" lumine said as she ran off to the direction shenhe and her brother went
"ehe! Um this is akward.. byebye!" And with that, you and xiao were alone.
" uh.. thank you for saving me there xiao.. "
"I should be thank you for speaking up for me, so thank you" xiao said with a red face, trying to avoid your gaze
" You don't have to thank me! That's what friends do after all right? "
" right. but still thank you " xiao said once again
" right!! And now that we're technically friends, do you want to hang out after school?"
" Well.. I have volleyball practice after school every day-"
" YOU PLAY VOLLEYBALL?!! THATS AMAZING CAN I COME!??!" you interrupted xiao. (how rude)
" u-uh alright. You know where the gym is right?" xiao asked
" yep ! "
the day went on normally, and today's lesson is finally finish and you rush to the gym to see xiao's volleyball practice and you heard the guys in the team were pretty.. tall.
You take a deep breath, and open the door and take a step inside.
