"what took you so longgg??" hu tao huffed as she munched onto her Mora Meat, you only chuckled back
"just gotta clean up something" you grinned, setting down your Yakisoba.
"by the way!! What are your classes's festival activity?" aether (finally) spoke up, and hu tao's interest perked up
"MY CLASS IS DOING A HAUNTED HOUSEEE!!" hu tao exclaimed, clearly proud of the activity, personally you predicted that coming, very hutao-like.
"my class is doing a simple karaoke bar" shenhe warmly smiled, while she chew on her own food.
you opened your mouth to speak, but then had a sensation where you felt like you'd just embarrass yourself, so you left to lumine to do the explanation. Gazing to lumine, she immediately got the sign you gave her, and explained
"me, aether and y/n, and the rest of our class are doing a cafe" lumine explained, while aether and you nodded, (come to think of it aether rarely talks)
"interestingggg!!" hu tao murmured, then continuing "hey hey! Let's visit each other's activity place!", hearing hu tao's offer, we all nodded deciding it was a good idea to do so, as standing there all day would be tiring.
after that, the day went on normally, and now? You're preparing to go hom-
"MISS Y/N L/N." a low voice yelled, getting your attention
"have you really forgotten about your... detention this week?" the teacher coughed into her palms, as you were sweating bullets
"a-ah uh- no ma'am! I was going to the bathroom.. then the detention uh- place!!" you stammered among your words, trying to figure out the best way out. (didnt work that well)
"well then, MISS. Better get going." The teacher gave you an obvious death glare, before walking away, possible still glaring at you.
you breath out a sign of relief as the teacher was out of sight, your hand made the way up to your chest - hovering over your beating heart after being scared out of your own mind..
"yo you okay?" a voice called out from behind you - making your fragile heart beat again, you also froze up completely.
"uh.. are you alright?" the voice asked again, you quickly turned back to see xiao standing before you - his arms crossed as his schoolbag slung over his right shoulder - his collar appears a bit loose.. RIGHT BACK TO TOPIC!!
"i was fine before you sneaked up to me." you answered, hand still hovering over your heart
"hm, too bad then" xiao scoffed, he then walked pass you, before turning back.
"you coming?" he questioned you, which made you a bit confused
"where are we going?" you asked, obviously forgetting the whole conversation with the teacher
"we have detention. Remember? Or do i need to smack that in your head?" he scoffed, before walking away first
"WAIT I REMEMBER YOU FUCKING BITCH DONT LEAVE ME HERE"
