After playing games at xiao's house, you had to drag hu tao out before challenging xiao to another match with mario cart for the 1395375th time. (okay but i seriously never played these b4 so i have no idea how it works) Now you were, at your own house.. eating cup noodles at 9 pm because your anxiety were too high to accept food from xiao's mother..
" hah.. maybe i should've accepted it when i had the chance to" you pouted, holding the cup near your mouth and drink le soupe from the cup. Then wiping your mouth with your arm, you sighed
" should i just like... sleep? I doubt i would be able to though" you talked to yourself again, your parents are living in another nation, they still sent you money weekly to thrive since they wanted to live by themselves and not have a kid to take care of.
Throwing away the dirty cup into the trash, you decided to stretch your arms for a bit and at the same time, prepare your books and laptop along with the necessities you need for school. You lived in a quite small apartment with a kitchen, 1 bathroom and a small bedroom with a medium sized bed and a desk, and a closet.
" let's see.. tomorrow i have.. English, PE, Art and Science." grabbing your artbook, and pencil case with a pencil, pen, eraser and some other random stuff needed for school. After getting all that ready, you set out your uniform. Hanging it on the chair along with socks so that when you wake up tomorrow, you'll be able to quickly wear it and run along to school easily.
After all that, you hopped onto your bed with phone in hand, ready to probably pull an all nighter.. again maybe.
anyway you fell asleep after scrolling on 27 different tiktoks, and it was now morning. Yet dear y/n is still sound asleep- nvm not anymore..
" 'M GONNA BE LATE!!" you shouted, frantically putting on your uniform and bag-pack on the ground right next to you, since the stupid ass alarm clock wasn't working for god's sake why.
Shutting your door with a 'bam!" and running out at top speed, you didn't look where you were going but like any mc girl, your stupid ass bumped into someone's back which made both of you fall on your ass.
" uh- i'm sorry! Are you okay?" you attempted to apologize but being the introvert ass you are, it wasn't easy forming a sentence.
" watch where you're going tch" the person grunted, upon hearing the voice, your eyes widened to see xiao, i mean obviously this is a romance people. Not your fighting to death book smh
" xiao?" you pondered
" oh, y/n." he said as he use his hands to shake off any dirt
" why were you running?" he added
" I- IM LATE!" you yelled
" it's 6:30am.. you're not late, there's still 1 hour until school starts." he stated
....
"oh" you muttered out
"wait then why are you going so early?" you asked
"i felt like it i guess" he answered plainly, and your face stayed stoic
" ah, okay" you said, a few seconds of awkwardness passed and you both decided to get up and walked to school together.
" you know, hu tao wasn't really good at mario carts was she?" you started
"says the one that won like 3 times with 10 rounds" he said
" HEY!! It's not my fault im not used to it you shortass!" you shot back
"did you just call me short?!" he opposed
"thats because you are!!" you snorted
"at least i don't pull an all nighter and wake up early thinking it's late!!" he barked
"ELF!"
"FUCKING CAT"
"PETIT ASS"
"SUICIDAL FREAK!"
"wait how did you know i was suicidal?" you asked and he sighed
" wasn't that book in your bag enough?" he pointed to the book 'suicide methods' hanging from your open bagpack
"oh. Well at least im not some emo short guy!!" you argued back
"at least i don't read suicide books!!" he hissed
" hey is that a cat?" you suddenly spoke up, and xiao's eyes widened
"where?" he beamed, looking around
"no where, im just messing with you" you chuckled
"YOU FUCKING ASS!!!" he growled, attempting to hit your head when you moved it out of the way
" HAHAHAHA MISSE-" you were cut off by a bonk when xiao landed a hit
"OWWW!!!" you yelped in pain, xiao looking proud on the other hand
"tch, deserved" he smirked
"emo ass.." you pouted, and started speed walking
"talking like you aren't an emo yourself" he scoffed
"say that again?" you taunted
"i said.. YOU. ARE. TALKING. LIKE. YOU. ARENT. AN. EMO. YOURSELF.!!!! there." he mocked
" YOU PIECE OF CRAP!!!!" you yelled back, having enough you decided to fucking break into a fight.
"ARG- GET OFF ME!" he groaned
"I'D RATHER DIE!" you shot back, soon breaking into a fist fight.
well, it was a fight until you ended up into an awkward position with xiao on top and you on the bottom
"hah, looks like i won." he smirked
"TRY ME AGAIN AND ILL BEAT YOUR ASS!" you shouted, until well, shenhe showed up.. while you're in that awkward position too..
....
" i'll leave you two.. alone?" she said unsure, and started walking out when your face flushed red, using your leg to kick xiao outa the way and running after shenhe yelling 'WAIT!' while xiao just sit on the ground face also red..
