Josie woke up the next morning with a headache and too many thoughts running through her head. She didn't drink enough to have a hangover, so the source of the brain ache was something else. She decided not to think about it too much and got ready for the day. After breakfast she headed to first period.

It was simple, regular, plain, boring english class with an older teacher going through the 'classical' books they would be reading this year. Romeo and Juilet, Dracula, and so on. She had no close friends in that class, the universe just had to make it extra boring.

Once the bell rang, everyone was out of their seats and making their way to the next class, for Josie, magical history.

"Hey you..." Finch appeared out of nowhere, causing an unknowing smile to show on Josie's face. She got a little nervous and took a breath before answering.

"Hi, how are you?"

"Feeling much better now that I'm with you," Josie would typically roll her eyes at the stupid line, but her heart sped up at the thought instead.

"I'm happy I have that effect on you," Josie replied without a second thought.

"It seems like you have that effect on everyone, perhaps you just don't see it," the brunette blushes deeply at the compliment.

"Well, you're the only one who has complimented me in a while, so thank you-" Josie speaks but freezes at a realization.

You never disappoint me Josie Saltzman, that's why you have me coming back.

Hope complimented her, like actually. Not because she wanted something from the girl, not because she was trying to tease. She was coming down from her high when Mikaelson praised her.

"Josie?" she breaks out of her trance and sees Finch looking at her expectedly.

"I'm sorry, I lost track of my thoughts-" she was cut off by the bell. Great! Now she was late too.

"It's all good. We can continue the conversation after class, but I think we're already late," Finch grabs Josie's hand and walks her to the class they share together.

Josie should be freaking out, realizing her crush on the girl, who is now holding her hand. But her mind shifts to a face she knows all too well. Ocean blue eyes and a fierce smirk. She agreed on no strings attached, but as soon as Hope let a little personality through her walls during their time together, Josie held on tight. She knew she looked a little too long some times, or was way too touchy with Hope during sex, but the Mikaelson never once complained. She does love the attention.

"Hope Mikaelson! No? Skipping on the first day already?" The teacher looks disappointed but not surprised as he marks Hope absent.

Huh. Now that Josie thinks about it, she can't recall seeing Hope in any classes, she must share a few with the girl as they are both in mostly advanced courses. She makes a mental note in her head to check in on that, even though Josie may be pushing boundaries, but she can use her body's hormones as an excuse to at least look for the girl.

When classes end for the day, Finch tries to catch up with Josie to resume their previous conversation.

"I'm sorry Finch but I actually have to do something real quick-" Hope. "Can I come find you later?"

"Yeah yeah, of course. See you then," Josie is the first to walk away, trying to reach Hope's room quickly.

Knock. Knock.

"Go away!" she heard Hope's voice from behind the door. Josie pauses for a second, thinking whether she wants to push to see Hope or leave her because the girl sounds mad. She feels butterflies erupt in her stomach at the thought, so she knocks again, willing to test her limits.

"What?" Hope's attitude not only shows through her voice, but the aggression of how she opened her door.

Her face slightly softens at the sight of Josie but the brunette can feel the waves of anger flowing off the girl. She wants to submit already as Hope's alpha side is clearly present, even if it's at bay. It turns Josie on faster than she's willing to admit.

"What's up Josie?" Hope Mikaelson rarely apologizes, extremely rarely. And she didn't, but she stares into the chocolate eyes long enough to hope Josie gets the message.

"Can I come in?" Her voice is low as she glances around to find only two other people at the end of the hallway. And without question, Hope pulls her in by the wrist.

Hope was frustrated from the moment she woke up, and her wolf side has been causing chaos. She went for a run this morning instead of going to classes in hopes to calm her down. It did, but only a little. The Mikaelson has always had anger issues, but typically running helps. The backup solution to her problem every time the run doesn't do much just walked through her door. And looking extremely innocent.

"I didn't see you at classes, I got a little worried. Is everything okay?" Josie has been in her room only once before, so she stands there awkwardly by the door while Hope turns her back and walks to her desk.

"No. Just frustrated." Hope keeps it simple, not wanting to interact with the girl. And yet, she secretly loves the attention. That Josie came all the way here to check up on her, that Josie thinks of her. Her wolf is screaming to take the girl, to dominate the brunette in the skirt that makes her drool.

Hope sits back on her desk, crosses her arms and shows her confidence but staring the girl directly in the eyes. She's telling Josie what she wants, and she's praying that the girl is just as wet and ready.

"Oh yeah?" Josie slowly walks up to Hope, giving her the innocent eyes that the Mikaelson falls for every time. "Show me."

That's all it took for a switch to go off in Hope.
