Before the Davire sisters, there was the TUGA Spies. Before the TUGA Spies, there was The Star Cabal. Kieyla Jenn, daughter of Shara Jenn and code named Cipher Nine, discovered the nefarious plots of the Star Cabal and tore it down, but not completely. Instead of dissolving the organization, Kieyla used the Black Codex to restructure The Star Cabal into The Undercover Galactic Agency - her own network of TUGA Spies. However, the climb to power was dangerous, and Kieyla nearly fell before she ever reached the top.

"You don't look so good, Legate."

The rest of Ardun Kothe's words become white noise in her ears as Darth Jadus appears on the holocom in his place.

Wh-what?

She blinks once, and the Sith Lord is gone. The holocom is silent. From across the room, she sees a hunter droid walk across the doorway.

Kieyla backs away, her head spinning.

"It's breaking your skull. Can you feel it crack?"

"What's happening to me," she whispers under her breath.

Kieyla runs. Towards escape or sanity, she doesn't know, nor does it matter.

Ardun Kothe appears on the ship. He opens his mouth, and a swarm of flies pours from the opening. Through another door, she sees a Jurgoran looming in the corner of her bedroom while her mother chats with a stranger on her bed.

The room is spinning. The whole ship is spinning.

She finds herself on the floor.

Watcher X.

"If you're not a hallucination, this must be a backup system in the chip..."

"A limited intelligence program wired into the brain and triggered by a neuroendocrine response. I suppose it's possible."

The leash tightens.

"The SIS isn't to blame. We both know you were programmed before you met them."

"The Republic doesn't have the technology. Brainwashing is an Imperial science."

"Yes. If you want freedom...if you want revenge...we need more information. Imperial Intelligence will have records on Dromund Kaas. Take your personnel files from the Citadel Archives. Ensure no one sees you. You have no allies now."

Nothing.

Nothing but the spiraling black hole of despair that just kept taking and taking and taking.

Nothing but the idealistic lie that being forced into the life of a double agent was somehow beneficial to the galaxy.

Nothing but the endless drowning in her own thoughts that would leave her mouth as a river of lies.

Nothing except for a series of beeps, consistent with that of a heart monitor.

Wait.

A monitor?

She was laying down on her back with every muscle and nerve screaming out in defiance. Breathing? Normal. Heart rate? Slightly elevated. Limbs? All still attached. Mental sanity? Highly questionable.

Kieyla slowly opens her eyes to an irritable brightness directly above her that was being partially blocked by Doctor's Lokin's head.

"Ah! Our patient is awake."

She blinks twice, groaning quietly as she slowly sits up. She is in the medbay, unsurprisingly. What comes as a surprise is Kaliyo's presence on the left side of the bed. Doctor Lokin and Vector's presence is expected, but her Rattitaki companion making an appearance as well? Not a good sign.
