Uhhh, hi everybody :')
Yeah, I lost all my motivation. But, I did have lots and lots of ideas for this series, way too many honestly. It was all going to lead up to this huge timeline/universe convergence arc where all the Blancs, Noirs, and Ladybugs that I'd made as well as the ones that had been made in official Zag media such as PV Felix and Bridgette and the chatbug duo from the Chibi toons. But it would take an entire novella series to make that possible with my original vision, and that's a hard no from me.
But, I have read all the comments posted on this and the previous fic, and each one makes me proud to have written Return of a Killer. To the one person that wanted my AO3 link, there wasn't one... I missed the deadline I gave myself by a long shot, and I am incredibly sorry. I've gone through a large mental health shift and I had associated this series with the people that had made it tank. I am so very glad that many of you had enjoyed this, however.
I think if I ever have the motivation to do so, I'll rework this series. The plot points and characterization in Return of a Killer just seem lackluster to me now. I may even start with the thing that had me the most excited first and work backwards from there, with the timeline arc. I just hope all of you could understand.
The idea I had mentioned in the last paragraph would work like so: I write the timeline arc books first, including large portions of needed backstory in the fics themselves, and if there's enough demand, I'll write out their stories in more detail, sort of like prequel fics. The general concept of Return of A Killer and its involvement in the Blanc and Timeline Arcs won't change much if it ever gets fully rewritten, and neither will it change much for this fic and its own planned sequel.
I also had a lot of scrapped fics and concepts since the original planning of the series, and I couldn't tell you how happy I would be to share them if anyone is interested, whether in private messages or even in published form for the world to see.
If you're reading this and hoping that I don't discontinue this series as a whole, I am too.
