Missing Diary
&&. One shot

"Oh no..." I gasped in shock when I realized that my diary was missing.

"What happen, Calli?" My bestfriend asked.

"I think I might have lost my diary," I answered, still looking for it. I swear I just left it in my bag.

"Pfft, diary? Why would you still own a diary at that age? You're a grown-up now to own such a thing." I heard a man's laugh. I'm pretty sure that's Kian. My long-time opponent I hate him with all my life. He's nothing but an immature, self-centered j*rk!

"Why the hell do you care? Just shut up and leave." He makes me want to rip his skin off because of his presence.

"All right then," I thought as I saw his little grin as he walked out, and an idea came to me. He's the only one who has been messing with me in my entire life, so maybe he took my diary to make fun of me. Oh no...

"KIAN!" I shouted as loud as I could and ran to him.

"Miss me already?" He finally stopped walking. His minions, or should I say, friends, started teasing us.

"Dream on, a**hole." I glared at him. If my glares could kill someone, I bet he was already dead.

"Tsk, did you call me just to curse me or what?"

"Stop pretending, a**hole. Hand it over " I gave my hand to get my diary, but he just raised his brows, pretending to know nothing. This j*rk deserves an Oscar for being the best actor in the whole world.

"Hand over the what?"He really wanted it in a hard way, huh.

"Give me my diary before I tear your face off."

"Your diary? I didn't hide it," He said. His eyes told me that he was saying the truth, but still, I didn't believe it. Your eyes could cover anything. But they also said the eyes could tell everything. Nonsense

Seriously? "Let me check then," I said. He lazily raised his hands to let me check if he was really hiding the diary. I didn't see anything, except for his wallet in his pockets. His bag doesn't even have books or pens. Is he even studying or just fooling around?

"See? There's no diary here, you nerd," he said. I nodded and let him step aside. I pointed at his friends and kept them in line. I individually checked them out, but there's still no sign of my diary.

Where the h*ck did I put it?

I was sighing the whole day till our sub-teacher finally dismissed us.

"Callista Namika?" I looked at the door to see Kian's older brother. His brother is totally his opposite. His brother is a lovely, gentle, and caring man. He also studied hard, unlike Kian, who was just messing with students around him. Tsk!

"Here, why?" I answered and instantly got up from my seat. The only thing I could hear was my classmates' whispers.

"If I'm not mistaken, I think this is yours." He said as he handed me a colored purple notebook. It was my diary! My eyes lit up and I snatched it from him.

"Where did you find it?"

"Ah, you left it in the cafeteria earlier. I still have a class, so I decided to give it to you after that." Oh no, it was with him all along! I felt so guilty for Kian, I even cursed him for my stupidity.

But, what if--

"You appear to be deep in thought. If you're worried that I read your diary, don't worry. I didn't." He said. I felt relieved. I'll go apologize to Kian after this. But he also deserves that bad word from me because he has been acting like an a**hole these past few days.

"Thank you for returning it back. What could I do to repay you?" Since this diary is important to me, I'll do whatever he wants because he found it.

"Just talk to my brother; he has been dying to talk to you." What? But we already talked earlier.

"Where is he anyway?"

"Basketball court, I gotta go now." His brother didn't even wait for me to finish my word. I gave up. These siblings are both a**holes.

I went to the court to find Kian sitting alone. He was just staring at the ball.

I spoke, "Your thoughts are deeper than the ocean." He looked at me shocked.

"Look, I swear I didn't get your dia-" He was panicking, so I hushed him. It's a good thing he listened.

"Your older brother foun-"

"Of course he did; it's always him." He whispered, but I still heard it. I suddenly felt guilty again. I secretly compared him to his brother earlier.

"Don't say that, you're good in your own way."

"Why are you suddenly saying such things? Aren't we enemies?"

"Who said that we're enemies?" It was me who said you were my opponent.

“Days past, me and your father got along so well, and one day he confessed his feelings for me.”

“Really that story again?” My husband, Kian, said, He just got home from work.

He kissed his daughter's forehead and mine too.

“Dad, I will never get tired of your and Mom's love story.” said our daughter, Kiana.
